Yeah but it’s until the end of the season so you’d hope there’s some plan around reducing the squad size when players do return to fitness. If it was for a month, it would make sense but maybe it’s something the manager will expand on.
I’m all for making sure we’re covered but would want us to utilise those we already have for other cups bar the FA Cup and start bringing the likes of Edward’s through.
This is our current squad, and at some stage it needs to be reduced in numbers: (positions are generalised because some can play various roles)

On the face of it these appear to be 2 good signings. My only worry is that tomorrow we will learn that one or more of the injured players will be out for longer than originally expected. Looking at the positions of the new signings then I am worried we will not see TAR or Rodney for a a bit longer.
On another subject whatever happened to the link up with Man Utd where we were supposed to receive promising youngsters such as the likes of Sam Murray and Sam Mather. | | | |
