The Official January Transfer Window Thread on 17:44 - Jan 25 with 4771 views | aspas45 | Ngog is a better player than Vasquez an schetcher put together. Recent form has been good. Can see him scoring goals for us. Was once touted as a real talent. Can't believe he is still only 24.

Vasquez is slightly better than Schecter and N'Gog is slightly better than Vasquez. In about about 5 replacement signings time we should have a decent backup striker....

Nail on the head. Actually I think this is all part of the cunning plan. For certain positions only such as a back up striker the club is quite happy to be patient and recruit loan players . If they are no good they will replace with another loan striker and so on. Eventually as you say the plan will work and we will have a decent back up striker on the cheap. They are also watching players contracts closely. Ngog only has 6 months left on contract.

Being rated better than Vazquez or schecter , is a bit like returning from a long walk and saying I didn't step in dog shit or cat shit but happily claiming you stepped in pig shit, like you won and deserve a prize. There are different types of shit but at the end of the day theyre still shite.

The Official January Transfer Window Thread on 22:39 - Jan 25 with 4019 views | TenkosBlondeWig | Please tell me NGog is not a permanent deal Like most people have said better than our current back up but not one for the future 3rd striker behind Bony and Michu I guess but I just hope he is getting 3rd striker money and contract length
The Official January Transfer Window Thread on 22:42 - Jan 25 with 4004 views | TenkosBlondeWig | . . . . . we are crying out for 2 wide men Next season I think we need to seriously look at our wide options as IMO only Dyer is deserving of a first team spot Pablo - injury prone and 1 good game in 10 Routledge - inconsistent and had about 3 good games this season Lamah - not good enough Pouzelo is not a wide man and should be attacking midfield back up

Funny you say that about Dyer but Tom basically said the same thing in another thread. You don't know what you got until it's gone. I still wish you'd bring your website back too.

The thing is Laudrup doe not play our wide men ,wide. Dyer and routledge can both do a job ( hernandez, lamah, pozuelo, are imposters). We rely too much on Davies and Rangel to be our wide players, they are not and leaves gaps at the back.

Massive conflict of interest while his old man was in charge. Oyston's bricking it at the prospect of losing a few million. Strong bargaining position if we're still interested. Not sure we still are though...

Not sure Id want to as we buy Tom we get his ol fella and all the crap that comes with him. He s gonna be good player though. If he wants to further his career PL is best ,if just wants dosh -tax free-then Monaco . Needs to be done quickly and we don't seem to do that

Problem is even if Blackpool and us agree on a deal it still comes down to player, if he doesn't want to come and has already agreed a deal with Monaco for the end of the season he can just sit on his arse for 5 months, hes not going to give a S#%t now they have sacked his old man, he could even go on strike knowing the money he would loose in wages would be more than made up for by his multi million signing on fee. In this day and age the player has all the power.

Agree never been Dyer's biggest fan but we sure do miss the lad. Ngog is he a striker ? Always thought he played wide.
The Official January Transfer Window Thread on 13:48 - Jan 26 with 3025 views | exiledinenglandjack | Another potential summer signing, Harry Maguire from Shef United, outstanding young centre back, with them not doing great in the league might be an ideal long term replacement for Ash
The Official January Transfer Window Thread on 14:34 - Jan 26 with 2906 views | max936 | Fabio signing for Cardiff from Utd, along with Kenwyne Jones with Zaha still to be done, wouldn't bet against them trying for Ince again either, that'll be 6 players they've signed this window with the 3 Norwegians they've signed.
