Top 8 clubs separated by 3 points and top 12 clubs separated by just 8 points

The team that wins the title this year could do it with lowest number of points for many years

The overall quality of the league, compared to previous seasons, is looking pretty poor the more the season goes on with few teams of good quality

Alternatively you could argue that the quality of the league is much better and has more really strong teams.

Both arguments completely flawed though.
