Readng the reports coming through, shocking stuff. It was a soldier apparently. I know 3 or 4 guys based at the Woolwich barracks but thankfully most went to Kenya last week.

Cut off a man's head next to primary school allegedly. In the middle of a weekday afternoon...

'One witness, identified as James, said he and his partner saw two black men attack a young man aged around 20 in a Help for Heroes T-shirt with kitchen knives like he was "a piece of meat".

He told LBC Radio: "They were hacking at this poor guy, literally.

"They were hacking at him, chopping him, cutting him.

"These two guys were crazed. They were just animals. They dragged him from the pavement and dumped his body in the middle of the road and left his body there."

He said that after the "horrendous" attack, the two men, in their 20s, just stood around, waving knives and a gun, even asking people nearby to take pictures of them "as if they wanted to be on TV or something".

He continued: "They were oblivious to anything, they were more worried about having their photo taken, running up and down the road.

"They had no intention of running off or leaving or anything. In my opinion, they were waiting for the police to arrive to be shot by the police. That's the only thing I can think. It's horrendous what they were doing to that guy."

Some "brave" women tried to shield the man on the ground from them, he added.

He also said that it was 20 minutes before armed police arrived at the scene.

"When the armed police came flying around the corner, the man with the beanie hat, the tall guy, he charged at the police vehicle.

"A shot was fired by the other guy with the gun. Six shots were fired, both men went down and we now know they are dead as well."'

Wake up would you. The MAJORITY of muslims want Sharia Law, google it and educate yourself. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharia

http://www.economist.com/blogs/graphicdetail/2013/04/daily-chart-20

The funny thing is, Sharia Law is more a right wing doctrine than the left.

For instance, Capital Punishment, anti-gay, no human rights and where religion rules, how mixed up is that.

The ones that are listed in the statement ie the groups like....

Look, it's very difficult to argue against an opinion that says fundamentalist Christianity doesn't have the same basic tenants as fundamentalist muslimism (pretty similar religions in all ways, apart from who might or might not be a prophet) and someone who also says that fascist groups don't kill innocent people.

So I won't.

What is nonsense about their statement is they brush over what happened the other day and focus on a couple of groups that aren't actually renowned for killing innocent people.

Also they are insulting the majority of us by suggesting that we can not become outraged by one group of fanatics without joining another group of fanatics although there really is no comparison between the groups.

Also there were people of all colours in the EDL group that turned up in woolwich the other night so Surely they are not all extremists, yes I am sure they have some (just like the Muslims) but the difference is I am yet to hear of the EDL or the BNP etc flying planes into buildings or blowing up trains and buses or trying to decapitate a man in the street.

So maybe they should focus their anti fascist movement where it is needed.

And yes they are playing the race card as are you but as usual in an underhand way by trying to make out that people that have had enough of the Muslim extremists are racist, and trying to install fear in these people to prevent them speaking out for fear of being labeled

O.K. You still don't get my question so we'll leave it there.

How many countries still execute by beheading, support stoning and the chopping of of body parts? Lets see.....hmm, lots of Muslim countries!!

Since 1989, Saudi Arabia has beheaded more than 1700 people. Over half of those were foreign nationals.

I think the point is that you're instinctively anti-Islam because you see them as foreigners taking over when actually a great deal of the philosophy of sharia law is actuall rather consistent with the politics of the right. If it was the Tories espousing their views you'd probably go for it.

At the very least i'd wager their politics are closer to yours than they are to mine.

For me it comes down to a simple principle; that to discriminate against an entire religion based on the actions of extremists that call themselves muslims is absurd, unjustified and totally counter-productive, in precisely the same way as it would be to discriminate against Judaism for the Israel's treatment of Palestinians and so on. Violence is not one of the fundamental tenets of Islam, and most muslims would tell you that.

Right so EDL set up because of 20 Muslims out of 30,000 in Luton with placards shouting stuff at soldiers so now 100 EDL go round causing the police trouble. Fantastic.

Like all of these types of organisations the EDL is just an excuse to make money out of the vulnerable/poor/gullible/uneducated/disaffected and vent some anger caused by their own pathetic lives by having a row or smashing up the odd kebab shop.

It actually started off as 2 people that murdered another guy, one of which could have been a soldier, and turned into Muslim fanatics against a British soldier that then developed into people slating the EDL for their inevitable response.

What hasnt changed is that EVERYBODY has condemned the 2 people completely as vile humans that deserve little to no mercy.

'Slating the EDL as always' is right, they should be slated, because they are dicks. But I dont think disagreeing with their response equates to diminishing or 'deflecting' the atrocities these 2 cnts performed in the 1st place.
