I agree that Grant has always impressed - at least when I have seen him, but so did Symes prior to him landing at Spotland.
That said, I'm certain Knill didn't have a clue how to play to Grants' strengths whereas JC will know exactly how to deploy him to get the best out of him.
Bobby Grant will be fired up and eager to please having signed a 2 year deal.

I didn't, no. I saw him play the wide role for Coleman when Accy beat us at home a few years back (the one with Symes 30 yard wonder strike) and he played very effectively from a wide position - scoring himself with a header if I recall. | | | |
