Worst film ever seen 12:18 - Mar 17 with 8133 viewsHayesender

I've now got a new one to add to my list of shockingly bad films.

Skyline.

Got it from the bargain basement in Tesco, and I just had to watch it to the end as I couldn't quite believe how bad it was

Hellbreeder is the worst thing made by a human ever.

As a big fan of film I think this should be shown to directors as an example of how not to make films.

Darren Day stars.

I always get panned on this because I hate things that everybody else thnks are brilliant.
- Star Wars - load of absolute bolox from start to finish.
- Lord of the Rings - a group of people going from A to B cannot be spanned across 10 hours and three films. Apart from possible the LFW trip to Plymouth a few years ago.
- Harry Potter - embarrassingly bad
- James Bond - likewise. All of them. Total sht.
- Deer Hunter. Four and half hour film that could have been done in 70 minutes. 30 minute wedding sequence at the start could have been done in 15 seconds, next two hours of film totally irrelevant and pointless.
- Anything made in the last 15 years as a comedy spoof - not another teen movie, american pie, scary movie. All absolutely awful. Airplane and Naked Gun were brilliant, just leave the fcking genre alone after that.

Recently saw Quarantine which I liked, so got Quarantine 2 The Terminal which should be ashamed to even carry the name of the first one.

The worst film I've ever seen is a toss up between The Producers and the most recent Twilight one that my girlfriend wanted to see. That was two hours of film where literally, literally nothing happened.

This looks promising...

The first 4 are kids films Clive you are no longer 10.

People might not have liked Inception, but come on worst film you have ever seen!!!

You wanna see bad films get Sky Movies Premiere an absolute stinker or two every week for just £19.99 per month

The worst film, BAR NONE, that I had the misfortune to watch one afternoon on TV is BATTLE OF LOS ANGELES starring Nia Peeples (not the Sony film with a similiar title)
The script is terrible, the acting is appalling and the SFX look like they've been put together in someone's garage!

Do yourselves a favour - get in some pizzas and beers, invite your mates round and try and sit through this - I DARE you! Rent or get from Amazon.

TRUST ME - you will never EVER see a bigger pile of cinematic crap.

That film look like it transcends bad into becoming utterly brilliant.
At least it doesn't take itself seriously hence my honorable mention for Inception.

Worst film I've seen in recent times is a toss up between Avatar and Hard Candy (synopsis: a 14 year old seduces an adult, takes him hostage then makes him kill himself for being seduced). Both completely sh1t.

I believe A Serbian Film is officially the worst film ever. Wikipedia the plot.

I'm afraid, Mr Bromley, it takes itself very seriously.

I'm no stranger to satire and have purchased a wide range of B-Movies (owing to budget, bad acting, misplaced dialogue, shocking editing, or just being plain old rubbish) that have a special place in my heart. These mentioned at least had a bit of soul and are a bit "Bless". Trolls 2 transcends bad and becomes brilliant. Hard Rock Zombies does the same. Hellbreeder confuses and irritates like a Toilet Duck enema.

Hellbreeder looks and feels like a teenage director got hold of a subplot generator and repeatedly smashed it against the special effects button on his new digital camera. Dominique Pinon is in it for some reason even though he's clearly struggling with the inflections of the English language to the point that it sounds like he's reading the words but doesn't know how to wring any meaning out of them.

Inception may not be the grand head-fudger it talked itself up to be, but at least it has three very fine actors interacting in it. Hellbreeder has Darren Day.

Not Sure about the worse but this really annoys me

Any film where they have dubbed it over the original. The best example I can think of is the amazing 'Stalingrad' The German version with subtitles is a million times better.
Spaghetti westerns are fine though.

Stephen Kings "The Stand"

Can't believe I sat through 5 hours of that shite.

Any movie with JCVD starring. I'd love to knock him the f out, period!

I know what I should have expected when seeing this, but I don't mind dumbing down for some type of films. However this was so bad and so so so dumb that I walked out after 20 mins turned round to the rest of the audience and said 'Shame on you'.

We're the famous Queens Park Rangers, and we've got Roy Wegerle!

Utter shit. I watched the second one twice to see if I would like it when I was older. Still utter shit the second time round, the dullest war film ever made & the least funny comedy ever made.
[Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Thin red Line is categorically the second worst film I've ever seen.

Clooney was paid something like $8m for his role. In the final cut he has SIXTEEN WORDS of dialogue.

The original cut was like 7 hours long. Adrien Brody went to the premiere to discover he was no longer in the film

The only film worse

Funny thread. As with most things, comes down to personal taste. For me, the worst film I've ever seen was Borat. In fact, I can't even claim to have seen it because I only lasted about 40 minutes and couldn't bear it any longer.

Oh, and it is pictures. Or cinema. It is not movies.

And it's always entertaining when Northern starts on one of his moans.

I am still Steve but no longer in Dagenham.

Pictures? Do me a lemon!

Pictures is where your gran used to work where the audience would chuck Orange peel at the black & white Cowboys & Indians show accompanied by some old dear in the corner just out of site, hammering away to the pace of story on some detuned piano.

I actually thought Borat was ok, but only once. Seeing it a second time is not the same. Bruno was rubbish though, just Borat but in a different persona. Yawn... already been done.... by the same person.

'Toys' with Robin Williams was truely, truley awful. Only film I have ever fallen asleep at the cinema to, ever.

I don't think everything is sh1t. As I said personal taste. Be slightly tedious if everyone liked the same thing.

ToastR - exactly. Pictures is the correct term.
