Match Thread, Dale v In form top of the table Barnet 12:28 - Feb 22 with 11117 viewsJames1980

Sat on a train from London to Manchester thought I would start a match Thread. I notice there hasn't been any pre match interview with any players or members of the coaching staff. Hopefully that isn't due to a lack of confidence within the squad about getting anything from this game.

Cant compete with Forest Green Oldham or York. Why?

Can we compete with Accrington, Morecambe, Harrogate, Barrow?

haliafx arent brilliant to be fair. pitch bobbly and i think we probably should have won to be honest with you. as mcnulty said we simply cant compete with your oldhams forest green and york. we are only just outside of the playoffs.

Makes you wonder how we competed all those years in league 1 against the likes of Charlton, Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Brighton???

football has changed since then. you may disagree or not but look at the team in the prem at the bottom. teams that go up simply cant compete. i know im talking about the prem but of course other then a bit of luck most of the time its a money game. obviously a good manager helps

They also refreshingly play to their teams, players strengths rather than swallowing the whole Pep ball possession shite, they're more than happy for the opposition to have plenty of the ball knowing a) they can defend (on the whole) and b) have the players higher up to hurt the opposition on the break if needed to shift the ball quickly, them and Bournemouth have been a pleasure to watch this season, always enjoy watching Brighton and Brentford too
