Interesting Judd. They appear to have a wage bill in excess of £7m for 2023-24. Not sure what they are spending this season - but they remain in the League One relegation zone.

Another interesting point is the revenue from ticket sales - worth almost £2m to them - and food and catering sales worth £0.750m. So despite their size (average attendances of 6,500) they still lost £1.5m and needs an interest free loan from directors of £2m.

Hard work trying to make ends meet in football

I see their shareholder meeting is scheduled for a weekday morning - a Thursday at 10.30

The Dale did come up with a valid reason for our morning meeting and have said ithey wii revert to an evening meeting. I don't know if the Shrews have a valid reason or whether their shareholder meetings are usually held during the day.

To be fair the Shrews seem to be doing what we are doing - fans forums and engagement meeting on key topics. Nice to see that another club has recognised the need to install handrails to help the older fan base in the seated stands. We have had a good number of falls over the past couple of seasons and we need something done I think.

Their CEO has a good writing and communiocation style, and is onviously actively engaged in a takeover process, but continues to engage with fans on BAU matters.

Exactly why I am promoting it.

Learn from good practice.
