I hope that the cluboffer Hendo a coaching role at the end of the season...
He was saying at the event the other night that he has no interest in staying in football after playing, pursuing other avenues. This does surprise me, as I'm sure he completed a course on being a Director of Football just before he re-joined us.
It sounds like retirement in May is a done deal too.

He has already launched, and is heavily involved in, a property renovation business.

Hasn't one of the issues surrounding recruitment been around accomodation for players. Perhaps the club could work with Henderson (the property developer) to provide accommodation needed.

Given his latest project is in Ayr, it would be a hell of a commute to training.

He was more involved into R2R property and short term Booking.com type properties, he was speaking to a friend recently regarding outside investments. A thoroughly decent chap
Regional cup tournaments exist everywhere. I don’t like this competition, but it’s no different to the EFL Trophy, both are national competitions.
Anything else is down to personal preference.
Division three north wasnt a national competition.
Lets count all league games, all FACup Games, all league cup or (and national trophy games for non league clubs like ourselves) all official UEFA competition games, with everything else coming under ‘other’ category.

Division Three North was one quarter of a national competition. Winning promotion took you into the Second Division which was country-wide.
Let's just celebrate the fantastic achievements of one of our best-ever players instead of trying to find reasons to denigrate them.
When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Too bloody true. If ever there was a player whose achievements deserved applause and recognition, it's him. Older than his manager and still scoring. As someone pointed out on Tuesday, Hendo was old enough to be the father of every player in the opposition team and he still showed them how it's done. Bravo.

Yes lets do that...and we dont need to count on his goals against youth teams to do that.
We as a club do, you or any other individual supporter doesn’t have to.
Unless I missed it, there was no particular attention given to his goal against Northampton in 2023 which would have been his 130th strike (I think!) to beat the record of games in competitions which don’t include u21 sides.
