You’re probably right. The Northam Fanzone will be full of skin tight replica shirt wearing freaks drinking £6.50 pints of piss pre match Sunday.

Why is that funny? It's a completely sensible idea. It's not exactly threatening mass demos on the pitch, but it's a start.

Protest on 12:14 - Dec 11 with 1574 views | dixiefrog | We’re all a bunch of puss*es, who sit on our hands and mutter under our breaths about how sh1t RM and the board are. Can’t see the fans of Newcastle, Leeds or even Pompey putting up with being shit on week after week and doing nothing about it. I know, instead of venting a proper message to the board, let’s boycott the buying of floppy foam hands and beanie hats.

I suspect you could be right Sir. Aren’t the fanzones typically frequented by the Noddy Brigade?

Sadly there is an element of truth in this . There is a guy on one social media platform who is bringing a banner in to protest and he’s being shot down in flames by many. [Post edited 13 Dec 5:41]

How about doing what the hated Scousers do, go to the games and support your team, but have a big protest march to the ground and make a protest during the game. This is the type of apathy we have at Southampton these days, lets protest with a sit in, meet in your own lounge in front of the telly at 7.45pm on Wednesday evening, that will really show Sport Republic our feelings

like SR give a t0ss. They have the ST money already. Income from selling additional tickets, replica kit and warm flat beer is a pittance of the TV income. At the end of the day a ST holder pays for access to 19 games at SMS. Everything else including all the loyalty crap is generated by PR fairies. Same happens in any other industry. Do you think Tesco or Esso actually care about anything but profit margin. Only the water companies care by making the effort to pump nutrients into streams, rivers and the sea to feed sealife

I actually rather liked the Scousers orchestrated protest 2 or 3 years ago of all walking out early during a game. Quite a powerful visual message, and not violent so that the board couldn’t just say it was a violent mob minority.

Already done that by boycotting the league game against Liverpool, although it seems out of the 32k I was the only fecker to have enough conviction to actually carry it through.
