A much better performance. 17:08 - Nov 2 with 1225 viewsSnipper

I was expecting to get beat today, as they’re a good young team.

We played against 10 men for 30 minutes or so, and totally dominated. We should have won to be fair.

But the biggest plus for me today is we actually looked like a team.
We have found a gem in Kieran Morgan. I think he’ll be some player.
Madsen & Varane were also solid.

Okay, we didn’t win, but I was pleased with the performance.

Yes, disappointed not to win that. We lack a cutting edge at the moment but I was impressed today, even before they went down to ten men. Just need to start gambling a bit and not endlessly passing the ball around the opposition box.

Hopefully, we can build on this on Tuesday night.

Frustrating. Obviously before the game I would have taken the point but the way the game panned out the three points were offered on a silver platter but not taken.

A very good first half where we went toe to toe with the league leaders and all of our new signings enjoyed improved performances.

After the red card Sunderland sat back but we couldn't take advantage. Sometimes we were slow getting numbers forward but when we did the lack of movement was painful to watch, players standing around waiting for something to happen.

As with the last home game against Coventry many players looked spent in the final ten minutes.

I thought Marti could have been a little more adventurous with his substitutions to give us more movement up front, Madsen, who I thought looked on a different wavelength many times today than those around him, should have been hooked long before he was.

Our shooting was below the standards you would expect from professional footballers.

But overall positive with the performance and result.

Middlesborough up next at home who got soundly beaten at home by Coventry today so I want to see another positive performance and three points at the end of the evening.

We sorely miss a striker In the mould of Nahki Wells or similar, he's still scoring goals and did again today.

It's stating the bloody obvious I know but 17 shots today with three on target.

We've sorely missed an out and out striker for far too long and this 'issue' will eventually cost us dearly.

Yes I suppose most fans of most clubs could say the same thing.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.
