Just to prove what AI can do right now, I loaded the plan into an AI tool and asked it to create an audio podcast. Here it is below, summarising the text and turning it into what the club would like to happen:
https://jumpshare.com/s/5Csxj9Abkd5bFFpIkabw

The voices are completely AI generated, the script is generated by the AI and it has produced and edited it all in about 5 minutes. This is where AI is now - it's no wonder Clive is worrying about his job.

That is insane. Thanks for posting.

“If we were performing on the pitch as most of us expected after what we achieved since marti took over them the mood would be different”.

No sh1t, Sherlock!

News flash. We are not performing. Hence the questions; the analysis, the opinions of what is going wrong or has gone wrong.

Yeah but the likes of you are using our on field troubles to push your own odd agendas and conspiracy theories. I’d like to think most right minded supporters take all that stuff with a pinch of salt.

You keep banging on about this and it’s really rather odd. It’s entirely normal to discuss what is going on because we are in the bottom 3 and have spent 6m and currently heading to league 1.

I see you did not comment on your own take as highlighted prior, which of course, made no sense whatsoever.

There are also a number of people saying the same things behind the scenes that you insist - almost entirely on your lonesome - that none of this is true. So much so, that I’m still wondering if you are indeed the burner account of Mr Nourry.

It is entirely normal to discuss what's going on. Hence why posters are offering up a different view point. Not sure why Clive , Haddock, and yourself are posting salty replies.

Genuinely amazed at the level of “look the other way” tribe we’ve got going on here - fortunately only seems to be a handful. It’s far from the general consensus, as shown by that Nourry post that racked up thousands of views and a lot of comments.

But seems we are living in some other world from you?

We are 3 points off the relegation zone, the season so far has been a complete disaster, and we’ve spent money…. bags of it, for the first time in years. And yet, nope, it’s a case of all is well. Honestly, the mind boggles.

There are also reputable posters on this message board - who are far from in the business of making things up. Who then get labelled as some kind of twitter ITK. Anyway, believe what you want to believe it’s entirely your prerogative.

As for salty? Would you like some chips with that?

If you follow the thread a certain Ned Kennedys is saying one is “pushing an agenda and with a conspiracy theory” - if that isn’t antagonistic I don’t know what is. A typical response from day one.

Well, you ,Clive and others know more than me with what's happening behind the scenes.
It's almost like the last 15 years hasn't happened. Fk it, the last 40 years (for me) . I'm well aware of disasters at the club. It's not the case of look the other way. I was just trying to add a bit of perspective. But hey ho.. you crack on. My pitch forks are still in the garden shed for now.

Didn't intend to be salty. It just felt a bit like me going on a rugby union thread to tell them all how sht I think their sport is. If you don't like it, that's fine, nobody's forcing you.

I don't really get your analogy Norf, but I haven't once said you and JD don't know what you are talking about. I value both your opinions and clearly know more than me what's going on behind the scenes.
Obviously I'm concerned about what's going on at the moment, and I've never been one to shy away from criticising the club on this message board.
We all know the real problem at the club is the owners. But we're stuck with them.
Just feels to me, that there's momentum building around who's at fault for the dreadful start of the season. I just wonder if it's all a bit premature to hound out Nourry.
Just an opinion Norf, not trying to dig you out.

The thing with Nourry is that right from the off it was a dubious appointment, given his lack of experience and odd circumstances of being the guy auditing the club. Add to that the impression that Hoos was looking for the exit, it's hardly surprising that people have questions over his suitability to have this wide ranging role. Then if you add to that his corp-talk gibberish and his approach to supporter engagement, he was always going to be treated with suspicion, and with justification.

Edit, to add: I've always been for a DoF at Rangers, but to work I think it needs to be someone who commands respect, or is at least likeable and easy to work with. I'm obviously speculating here, but from everything we know about Nourry i find it very easy to imagine that Martì dislikes answering and being dictated to by him, which worries me. Again, I know that's largely speculation

Hoos looking for an exit is a good point. Nourry said he could take on the role, Hoos probably said 'fine you'll do', made his recommendation to the board and that was that.

Maybe Nourry will change his approach as time goes on; and it's still hard to gauge the relationship between him and the manager. If Cifuentes feels he's getting overruled in team/player matters and results continue to go south, then you wonder how long he'll put up with it before he decides to go somewhere else.

But as mentioned on another thread nothing will change (for better or worse) till we get new owners.

How's Richard Reilly getting on with that by the way?

To get back to the subject of the thread. Can anyone answer any of the following questions?

1) Who are the members of the Supporterrs Advisory Board?
2) What matters will they be disdussing with the club?
3) How were they appointed?
4) When will elections to the board take place?
5) Who will be administering these elections?

I have read a sugestion that Steve Sayce is on the board as representing various Fans Groups, but that is pure conjecture. As somebody posted in the thread, I'm all in favour of Connell being nominated.

So the Advisory Board as it presently exists was basically put together by Lee Hoos.

It was something that he'd done at Burnley and worked well, and we didn't have here so he set one up.

It is, I believe, made up of a season ticket holder from each stand, a rep for the disabled supporters, a rep for each fan group, a rep for the coach travellers and so on.

But it wasn't done with elections, and the membership has remained the same. I think the EFL is now mandating you have to have one of these (we previously did it off our own back) and it has to be democratically elected (which ours wasn't).

Ours isn't a secret society, they publish minutes of their meetings. The most recent set of minutes is here and you can see who's there/apologies on this.

Thanks Clive.

I suspect that most posters are like myself & had no idea that this committee existed. Especially if the minutes are only posted on QPR Ist. Surely they should appear on the club website as well? Not that I would definitely have seen or read them!

I didn't mean to imply any disrespect to the members or question their sincerity, but I find it surprising that it has been in place for a number of years without seeing any mention of their existence.

Interested to know what form these 'virtual fan engagement' things will look like and who will be involved because you'll recall at the recent forum Nourry said that while it was just him this time, there would be "further events later in the season where you'll get to talk to people on the football side".

This document also seems to very pointedly say the manager won't be appearing at the fans forums any more which is, again, for me, a mistake.

FWIW I feel the same (that the manager/head coach should be in attendance at the official, club-hosted fans forum) but from a completely non-scientific analysis of other London clubs, it's about 50/50 as to which clubs do and don't.

Arsenal, West Ham and Chels** don't bother to send the manager out but have representation from roles like the "Global Director of Supporter Engagement" and the "Vice President of Customer Fulfilment." Spurs don't unless they're having a skip-fire of a season (so almost always) and Brentford, Fulham and Palace all seem to send the manager out. Waaawll send out Harris to windmill into the baying horde with Steve Gallen for backup.

Yes AI is pretty bonkers already.

There are so many job roles that will become obsolete.

It will be unbelievably rapid in what it can do and the speed this will happen too.

Accountants, reporters, musicians, television drama production, programmers or authors too.

In just a few years it will be insane and the speed at which things are changing is mad.

They only need audio of someone saying a couple of words to create text for that person to have full blown conversations with others.

Lots of need to prevent fraudsters too.

However, I can say with great authority that no matter how quick and how massive the effects on everyday life, the one thing it will never ever be able to do is find a goal scoring centre forward for Queens Park Rangers !!

This is why EN Voice Actors in Hoyoverse games are currently on strike. They are looking for a deal whereby their voices are protected IP and they want to be reimbursed if AI uses their voices. I have no idea when this strike will finish but I will keep an eye on it.

The grass is always greener.

This is great, Clive. Thanks.

However, for this to work it needs to be democratically elected and the club should be publishing this on the official website, with a part of the website dedicated to holding these minutes, names and details of those on the Supporters’ Advisory Board, and information around the process for feeding back, elections, etc.

If the club cared about this and truly wanted advice from representatives of supporters, they’d be doing all the above already, regardless of EFL diktats. The fact they aren’t tells me this is lip service, and more for Nourry and the club to evidence they are engaging fans.

Yes to me it's complete total gloss.
