Kaba ‘killing’ 13:45 - Oct 3 with 7611 views | KeithHaynes | I see it’s now being referred to as a ‘killing’ despite the driver trying to kill officers after being pursued for two miles. He continued to ram police cars after being stopped. That is a deadly action in law. One officer shot him once as he feared for his and his own and colleagues safety. What would you do ?

No surprise Abbots own son is a convicted criminal Many opine we have no “communities” . Many believe this diversity we read of is a shame . I do. Inner cities are ghettoes where one race feels separate from the laws of the land . Police can and should do nothing and let them get on with it. They can police themselves. They want to defund the police anyway .Let them. Many see multiculturalism in a negative light. Folks,it was the same in 81. Many black people detest white people and that’s fine if we accept that . We can tolerate each other without being forced to “ love “ one another . We are a divided country and always have been MPs simply taking the side of a criminal family simply because they are of the same colour [Post edited 23 Oct 16:39]

Lamenting a criminals death purely because it suits them politically Abbott ,Corbyn ,and Addy have a vested interest in lamenting deaths of even those who shoot people .Dead And we allow this

Kaba ‘killing’ on 23:13 - Oct 22 by Luther27 | I struggle to understand how the IOPC are above the rule of common law. I’m not sure where the Met go from here. Armed response officers no doubt will be taking a long hard look at this and wonder is it feasible to carry on volunteering for this duty. This trial has revealed the officers identity which endangers his family. No officer in his right mind would risk his or hers family being subjugated to any form of violence based on their actions. I know I wouldn’t. |
They aren’t above the law, but they do have the power to insist disciplinary proceedings are initiated. It’s a power afforded to them by Parliament and it’s a controversial one. It’s all about being able to hold the police to account and increasing confidence in the service. I don’t agree with the double jeopardy it creates.

Here’s what they should consider Why have firearms trained police at all if this is what happens when they pull triggers . We have them as we don’t have all routinely armed police. I wish we had . Police don’t want this as this is the result . All firearms police should hand in their authority and let the “ community” sort out their own security issues unless filth like Corbyn and Abbott have better ideas . Either us or them Choose

Kaba ‘killing’ on 17:54 - Oct 23 with 971 views | ReslovenSwan1 | people of colour in places like Lewisham Brixton and Hackney have the option like any community to police themselves. UK is a state whereby the Police operate by consent. If the PoC community do not give consent they can make moves to encourage people in their own community to police themselves. They cannot it seems due this for 'cultural reasons' I assume.

The problem with the idea of a self-contained community that could be left to police itself is that such a community may spawn "county lines" gangs that damage young people in our communities. [Post edited 23 Oct 20:01]

"encourage people in their own community to police themselves" Sounds a bit like Sharia Law.

UK policing is policing by consent. The citizen is encouraged to help a policeman or women as they are unarmed. PoC police would apply British law not Muslim laws. The PoC have a duty to police their streets in proportion of the ethnic profile of London boroughs. If Brixton is 60% ethnic then that should be represented in the Police ethnic breakdown. This is consistent with Policing by consent. If PoC do not have this proportion then they have the power by their own actions to resolve it. It is a classic " if you can do better" argument.

And Corbyn wanted her to be his Home Secretary if he was elected as PM . Beggars belief the thought process of Politicians and their croonies and hangers on . My take on it , sad that he's dead ( for some), or glad he's been removed from society saving some other persons life. I know which camp I sit in.

There’s nothing wrong with encouraging people from their own community to police themselves and efforts have been going on to that effect for the last 20 odd years, but it’s been met with limited success. The demographics in London have changed considerably over time and minorities make up around 40% of the population, having more people from minority communities makes sense and will make the Force more reflective of the population it police's. The main issue in London is that while the Met have had a decent amount of success in recruiting from some communities, the percentage of black recruits has barely changed. When we recruit for police in Wales, the doors are open to everyone but we want local people to join because they have an interest and a stake in their communities.

Glad I didn’t use such language to describe utter worlocks Inner cities are basically a war zone Blacks killing blacks but it’s ok apparently. It’s the police’s fault The likes of Di,Bell and Jez are elected . Ergo, they are supported in their views Defund the police in London and use the savings for the rest of the country which is more deserving

Why should race and/or ethnicity even be considered? Why should you have to be black to police a black community? Black and Asian officers police predominantly white areas with no issue whatsoever. Why is there an obsession with what colour people are?
