On the subject of “single use”, that doesn’t need to be the case if the season ticket is renewed. The only stickers that would need removing would be those where a season ticket isn’t sold.
That sort of complex thought process probably isn’t required at Anfield, Old Trafford, the Nou Camp or Madison Square Garden though, so there’s no need for us to consider it either. |  |

The cost of that against the cost of potential extra stewarding and fans who go for the first time and have an avoidable bad experience isn’t even worth debating.
The fact that the club have, so far, chosen not to take the Trust up on their offer for a sensible solution indicates greater concerns around the bigger picture though. | |

We all had tickets for the York game last week but everybody just sat where they wanted, it was a free for all. Nobody complained, that's what normally happens at away games. At home games it's different because you can see the seats with reserved stickers on, or you could. There are a lot of young fans and school children, community groups who will have complimentary tickets, they see empty seats prior to the game kicking off and just go and sit in them, especially behind the goal or where their friends might be sitting. There's a reason there has always been reserved stickers on season ticket seats, it makes perfect sense, stops confrontation from happening and saves the stewards from having to disturb everybody in order to escorts people to their correct seat. I suppose away games are a bit different as you cannot choose your seat in advance and it is pretty much the unwritten rule of sit where you like. Those who want to stand can then gravitate to the back and then vice versa. |  | | |

So 2k SCs less say 500 in the Sandy = 1500. I know we are trying to be sustainable but £150 well spent for me. If the club think we aren't worth 10p for a £350 SC could they be sold at the Trust desk and self applied.

The matchday experience can be improved on greatly. After 40 years of supporting Dale i am well versed in where to go / what to do and where to sit. Its not the same for the occasional fan and god help us should we start to get 3000+ home fans every match.
Rochdale football club are not unique in making terrible decisions. Today I popped into ASDA on Mellor Street for a few Items (half a trolley maybe less) what has happened with that store it was an absolute shambles. The connection is management driven by data and not common sense. Get the basics spot on and give customers an easy / fun / common sense experience.

Yes, your absolutely correct Big Kindo, it isn't rocket science is it , pervious posters have suggested similar resolutions, I'd like to tag on to your post if I may, anyone with an ounce of business acumen will realise that not identifying the "reserved seats " has/is/will create loss of revenue (many of the additional concerns have previously been well documented) one that hasn't, as far as I'm aware is the aggressive, entitled, half cut season card holder who attempts to access their allocated, unmarked seat/s then comes down heavy handed upon the family (through no fault of their own) of first time Crown Oil attendees, that's they're only experience of supporting RAFC having been spoiled, they may/may not ever return, then there's the group of mates (for example) who previously enjoyed 3 - 4 pre match pints in one of the Dale bars, they've now (case scenario) become sick and tired of attempting the access their allocated seats to find someone (through not fault of their own) sitting in their seats, the group have since decided to just have 1 - 2 pints and take their seats 30 minutes before kick off, I'm confident that the RAFC commercial manager is resolving the issue and applying "season reservation stickers" upon season card holders seats as I type, well maybe not! |  | | |
