It's sensible tying him down to a two year deal. He was very highly rated as a kid but has suffered from injury. He showed that he was over those injury problems with a run in the side. A good start to the season and the vultures would be circling.

I thought he was one of our better players towards the end of last season and I was glad we triggered the one year option. In the two home pre-season games against Carlisle and Salford, he's looked very comfortable at RCB. He can play RB, RCB & RWB. We need that versatility.

It is really pleasing to see the contract extensions. It gives the players security and all three should be able to adapt to League 2, if we did get promoted this season.

What I like about our team is that they are playing with a smile on their faces and it's not a burden to turn out for Dale which fans pick up on.

It's been a chore for a few seasons for fans and players.

It's good to see players a*rsing around a bit like TAR and his mate on the golf vid.
