After that rousing speech last night and the (bizarre / misunderstood / shameful) booing from the Leeds fans - the only noise they made all night - it inspired me to make a regular donation to someone actually working to make a real difference.

Interesting that they stood through it without booing for the most part despite not being able to hear, and only decided that they were angry about not being able to hear it and started to boo at the point they did.
BS for me.
There's no way they didn't hear Mark and even if they didnt , why boo? . Yeah BS
The only thing i can think of, is a small section of their fans were giving it out and the rest started booing their own maybe??

Are the speakers THAT bad in the away end so those poor Leeds fans couldn’t hear at all? Mark’s speech was clear, impassioned and as loud as I have heard anybody speak on the pitch at Loftus Road so it seems a pathetic excuse to me.

I had the same thought when I read that apology. If you can't hear something, why boo?
Exactly. That is the question. The poor sound system . It’s not the best at Loftus road but Mark was coming through loud and clear last night . It’s a statement that says we’re not taking responsibility for the poor behaviour of a lot of tanked/coked up fans. Piss poor response.

It's Mark Prince, you can hear the guy from Ladbroke Grove.

I couldn't hear him from my couch.
I booed him.
Ah, that explains it. I let the dog out at half time, and could hear what i thought might be a faint booing on the westerly. Anyway, I couldn't fully make it out, so obviously I booed.

I thought it was a good speech got me pumped up for the 2nd half, as for the Leeds fans what can you say that has not already been said about them. To be honest I hardly heard them last night probably due to how loud we were and that we bossed the game.

Could easily be a weak excuse but have read that there was supposedly a fight breaking out in the away end during the half time break so could have been related to that.
I mean...you'd prefer it to be related to that than people booing a man who runs a charity aiming to stop knife crime.

What is it they say about something looking like and quacking like ducks?

Class response.
Everything about this man is super impressive
You never get over losing a loved one so young and especially in the dreadful circumstances Kiyan passed.
But to make a massive positive out of an awful negative is incredible as many of us just simply could not.
He is an inspirational speaker no doubt and his graciousness to a few idiotic morons who attach themselves to Leeds United, well you expect no less from Mark.

As you say - total class.
I’d agree on the few morons aspect normally but this was virtually their whole end.
I’m still amazed Sky have effectively thrown a blanket over it really, perhaps they turn their cameras off at half time.

I think this really should be taken further but it will be swept under the carpet I think! Also interesting to see if Rangers post up the whole interview on the offy as they normally do. I hope we don't bottle it but show a whole unedited version.
