He might come on as a sub for the last 5 minutes.

Great spectacle.
Côte d’Ivoire 2 Nigeria 1
Enjoyed that.
Good analysis from Efan Ekoku in the commentary.
They love their football down there.

Ivory coast had the lions share of the play, but boy were they lucky. Kessie who got the equaliser should not of been on the pitch. Should of been sent off for an earlier assault.

Spot on Dirk, 86th min, TP not required, Nigeria had one shot on target all game.

Put on the last 10 minutes on tv, looked like the dog and duck were playing, some fella in orange had a shot, missed the goal by about 20 yards going out for a throw the other side of the pitch. Another passed straight into touch.

Cape Verd only beat Guinea-Bissau (who?) in their group, qualified 4th from 6 in best 3rd places, sacked their manager, and guess what, won it.

Perhaps they should have played TP after all they did lose.
