I just translated the bold.dk article and found an interesting detail. Does the the agent of Lucas Andersen sound familiar to us at QPR?
Lucas Andersen is very close to being in place at QPR.
This is what Mikkel Beck, who is the agent for the 29-year-old offensive player, tells bold.dk.
- Status is good. We have spent the day getting the final details in place, and they are about to be.
- Right now and here, Lucas is doing the medical check-up. It's something that takes three to four hours, and then I'll bet he'll probably be there for a few more hours.
- After that, we are supposed to hopefully sign the contract with QPR.

NordicBet Liga Agent confirms: Lucas Andersen is for a medical check-up Photo: Claus Bech/Ritzau Scanpix So you are hopeful?
- Absolutely, yes. Nothing has been signed yet, and until it is, things can always go wrong, but we are hopeful, says Mikkel Beck.
It was Tipsbladet that earlier in the day could tell that Lucas Andersen was on his way to QPR.
If the final details fall into place, the main character will leave AaB half a year before the contract expires.
In the current season, Lucas Andersen has recorded 16 matches, two goals and two assists.

Just had a mate text me who’s a massive Toon fan and he raved about Hayden - top bloke, great player and will do well for us. He also checked some other Geordies he knows and they were all positive. Starting to sound like a bit of a coup getting him to Loftus Road. 😎

His interview, by the standards of these things usually, is terrific. Enjoyed the two minutes on individual accountability in a relegation battle. He'll love some of ours...

Here’s a headline for you Clive:
FOOTBALL LEAGUE IN SHOCK AS QPR GET THEIR RECRUITMENT RIGHT
If you said to me on January 1st that we're going to bring in a European striker with a 1 in 3 record, a Midfielder with a wealth of championship experience and another who is a highly rated youngster and captains his countries u21 team....I would have bitten your hand off.
Two 6 footers too.
Very happy with that.
IF we can move Willock on today and get Anderson in that would be the cherry.

I know Willock’s not exactly flavour of the month on here but he’s managed five goal contributions under Cifuentes which is more than anyone else in our squad. Like him or not, he’s got the quality to win games at this level.
I wouldn’t be starting him tomorrow but it would be a bit daft to move him on for a player who’s unproven in the championship and we know very little about aside from hearing that he has the same chequered injury record as Willock.
