Armageddon Leicester City at Home Match Thread 09:11 - Oct 27 with 53939 views | numptydumpty | Weirdly, I am looking forward to this one. We all know Rangers win the games they shouldn't and lose the ones that they should win. Form wise, this is minimum five nil home defeat. Strangely, I am optimistic. But it's basically a free hit. We all expect to be annihilated. I have absolutely zero evidence that my prediction is even anywhere near possible. But I am going for a Desmond. Two Two.... Yes I know. Definitely will keep taking the tablets !!! [Post edited 27 Oct 2023 9:11]

Might have been two. Doesn't matter now but that Dykes header looked awfully close to crossing the line. Admittedly haven't seen a replay.

Armageddon Leicester City at Home Match Thread on 14:53 - Oct 28 by LazyFan | That is a message to Willock for sure. Smyth I suspect is carrying a knock and they don't wanna risk him otherwise, he would play him for sure. But he defo does not like Willock. I suspect Hoo's has said he wants his stock to fall in the vein hope he will sign a contract with us as no one else wants him. But that won't work. Someone will always sign Willock as he's free and well-known. Kelman over Willock is a stupid decision. |
What's your basis for that claim? This is a CEO who never gets involved in footballing matters, then? If you're right, he's as stupid as he is incompetent.

Armageddon Leicester City at Home Match Thread on 15:53 - Oct 28 with 2006 views | Ned_Kennedys | Doesn’t fit the narrative for a lot on here but for those that bothered to go today that was a battling first half against a very decent team: hoping they can replicate the effort in the 2nd half. Chair playing well. Two forwards instead of Duke-McKenna in midfield has worked so far.

Armageddon Leicester City at Home Match Thread on 15:55 - Oct 28 with 1916 views | derbyhoop | Well that's been one of the most enjoyable halves that Rs have had this season. Leicester with all the possession but they've been sloppy. Mainly, because we've pressed them well. Their goal was unfortunate, with a huge deflection off Albert. Ours was down to persistence. Albert twice, then Dykes with header cleared off line, followed by a sweet strike from Dozzell. I hope we can keep it up but when we are doing so much chasing it doesn't seem.likely.

Armageddon Leicester City at Home Match Thread on 15:56 - Oct 28 with 1859 views | DylanP | Definitely looking better than anyone on here (including me) expected. 1-1 and their goal was a lucky deflection. Leicester have looked more composed but they haven't looked any more likely to score than us. Id've take a point before the game so I'm not too unhappy now.Of course, there is still an age to go, so everything to play for

Armageddon Leicester City at Home Match Thread on 15:57 - Oct 28 with 1829 views | QPROslo | Not a bad half from us there, they were only marginally better than us in their attacking play. They got a lucky deflection for their goal and it went in off the post I think. Great strike from Dozzell after Dykes was close. We look well organised at the back and Leicester have struggled to break us down and we have pressed them well in their back line.
Armageddon Leicester City at Home Match Thread on 15:59 - Oct 28 with 1754 views | davman | We're just so happy to be on the same pitch with such a great team. This season is seriously pssing me off as there is still so much slop in this league. Ipswich weren't all that and this lot certainly aren't all that and yet we are 'kin abysmal. Shape is OK for a team desperate not to concede too many, but utterly shocking going forward. No creativity, no intelligent runs. Yep, we've had a few shots today, but how far out have they all been? Yep, they are going to cruise this league, so "what did I expect", but this is far from good. They will come back out on the front foot and we will come back hoping to soak it all up and catch them on the break. WE ARE AT HOME FFS! <20% possession. It doesn't feel like that is the case to be fair, but sitting back allowing wave after wave will only end up one way. Commentators were saying that their goal came out of the blue because Begovic hadn't made a save, but that much pressure with the ball will lead to more clear cut chances than our bang it from distance tactic. Step it up Rangers, surprise us all...

1-1 is at least a bit heartening, and we've deserved it, which shows what knobs we can all be in trying to predict this gloriously inpredictable game, but Dykes has been an embarrassment for an international player, what with that left foot 'shot' to try to chip their keeper and then the 'speculative' one with his right that went for a throw. We need him off the books in January, and to sign almost any kind of forward if this club actually wants to score goals rather than relegate itself. [Post edited 28 Oct 2023 16:02]
