What do I do on Saturday? on 15:37 - Dec 5 by James1980
Do you think I could witness something barbaric on Saturday afternoon?
We were planning on having you dress up as a Gladiator and sending out a pack of lions onto the pitch at half time after you. Proceeds from the tickets sold going towards EBJ's January fighting fund

I reckon more tickets would sell if it was another portly balding man

Watch the Dale dance around Stockport and deliver a resounding 4-0 thumping and get all 3 points. Get a room at the Flying Horse for local beers some food and an England win by the same scoreline.. This is a football gods test James to see what you are made of.

Fantastic idea but I have to travel back to Sussex on Saturday evening which would mean watching England on the train.

Scraping Ice from the car windscreen at 7:00am this morning with a temperature reading of -2c doesn't bode well for the weekend.
Not sure what temperatures our frost covers can endure to save the pitch but with the forecasts for the next few days showing a high of mainly 1 or 2 degrees during the day and several overnight temperatures of between -3c to -5c with a high of Zero at kick off time on Saturday I think there is a real possibility that the game could well be called off for a frozen pitch.
To be honest with the way we have played in the last 4 games and the lack of quality in the squad currently I wouldn't be too unhappy about a few postponements between now and January as it may benefit us in the long term.

Did you pre-book train tickets James?
Hope not
Staff railcard only works on flexible ticket and not the advance fares so I don't usually and didn't this time. Cancelled my leave day for tomorrow so that will be available for the rearranged fixture hopefully I will be able to book it off.
