Here's to you Ian Henderson. The GOAT. It's absolutely no coincidence that his first full season with us we got promoted. His subsequent 6 seasons in League 1 his goals and all round performances kept us in League 1 and his first season away from us we were relegated. The word legend gets used far too often in sport but he is a true Rochdale legend.

Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10
Contrary to Yorkshire Dales suggestion, as a club we have loads going for us, it depends how you view the club. If somebody had said 18 months ago that we would now have a fan owned club, a mortgage free stadium and the Morton House shares back in the ownership of genuine Dale fans you wouldn't have believed it. To finally secure the long term future of the club is brilliant, we will get what we deserve on the pitch but that will probably come down to finances. As a club we've had victories all over the place recently and they have trumped anything we could have achieved on the pitch. Glass half full, positive thinking. Congratulations to Hendo, he's scored some really iconic goals for us down the years and fully deserves to move ahead of Reg Jenkins.
So happy I got to witness the moment as I don’t get to every match. Great celebrations at the end with the whole squad recognising what an amazing achievement it is. Very possibly once in a lifetime moment to see someone become our all time leading goalscorer. Any chance of marking this moment with a permanent move such as renaming Studds in Hendo’s honour(?)
