You would have to say that Mick might need to re-think our tactics away from home (even though we have picked up some good wins on the road). Maybe play a bit less possession away from home and stifle the midfield with 4 across the middle.

Our lot don’t like it up em , not putting a shift in ! Their 1st was lucky and had the ref not give the exact same foul 10 mins earlier when we strode through , then balogan would have got that free kick before their 2nd . No excuse though as we’ve been about 30percent slower than them for that first 30 mins

Dreadful performance in front of a big following as usual. What does the Villa loan actually bring to the team? And Armstrong is not going to be the answer to our problems upfront. Dykes as usual...is just Dykes. Team seem afraid and lacking belief - strange for a team at the top. Carry on like this and by the time the WC comes along, we could be out of the to six. Think there are going to be a lot of changes at the top during the season... as the Championship is wide open.
Revelling in misery as usual 😒

Brum deservedly in front, playing well but we’ve actually had the better chances, Roberts, Dykes, Armstrong all should’ve scored, johansen unlucky with the fk. Bit of a weird one. Can’t see it changing sadly, we have one sub window left i think? So beake going to have to use that very wisely. Very bored of Roberts injuries, have to say.
Honestly can’t think of any actual chances that we fashioned that half, unless you count Dykes screwing a hopeful effort at goal from the edge of the area while looking the other direction

Sinclair's fluffed shot from Paal's excellent cross?
Big worry for me is that Luton, Wigan (to an extent) and now Birmingham have all bullied our midfield. If this squad want to go up they need to accept teams wont role over. You have to earn the right to play your football. On another thread people thought Roy Keane was over rated, that is what we lack. Gutted.

It's a painful watch tonight. As bad as we've been this season and a bit like the Luton game. We struggle with a physical team. As for Brum, they know how to play against us.
Didn't Eustace warn Warburton that their were too many "softies' in the club? MB is learning this as well tonight.
