https://www.afcfylde.co.uk/ticket-details-play-off-semi-final/

Whilst the season is over on the field, a busy off the field Summer lies ahead spending some time righting a significant number of non-football wrongs that linger like the nasty smell of Fat Pat's used chip oil and which were brought to our door by others.

The first event of a busy non-football Summer is a trip to AFC Fylde next Sunday (15th May) and a visit to Mill Farm to renew acquaintances following our July 2021 friendly with AFC Fylde.

At that time of that friendly in July 2021, we were all fighting a hidden and well planned hostile takeover listening to Captain Sabotage Alexander Jarvis blurt out anything and everything to absolutely everyone and had a scratch a side together of trialists following a controlled relegation where Champagne was opened the day our League 1 relegation fate was sealed and a CEO that had left the club at the end of June 2021 via "mutual consent" having been voted off the Board by shareholders on 1 June 2021.

The weather is set fair, the cost of entry a very meagre Β£12 and for which you will get to sing as many #UpTheDaleNotForSale songs as you can belt out over 90 minutes.

There's a good number of ex-Dale relationships in the squad and of course, off the field.

The National League playoffs are a lottery and we're inviting Dale fans everywhere to buy a ticket.

James Rowe's side are under a lot of pressure from the COO to get out of the league and are inconsistent and home playoff semi finals where you are the over

AFC Fylde's opponents are either Kiddeminster or Boston United who play on Thursday night.

By this time next week we will know if they've made it or not.

As the COO's media team have written "Each and every Coasters supporter has given their all backing the side home and away this season, but we need you now more than ever, so purchase your semi-final ticket, be loud, be proud and cheer the lads on to promotion."

A bit like those flyers that were put on cars when we played away at Darlo.

As the song goes, que sera sera, whatever will be will be......

Now, if you're all going Mill Farm clap your hands.

Surely Roger isn't just copying another three year old Rochdale idea that was stale as soon as it was formulated - Make your own Coaster(s)?

There's something eerily prescient about that!

I love how its advertised as a FREE event, as if anyone would consider charging kids for such a thing

What kind of #AFCFylde player is going to give their all on Sunday for a man exited by his previous club for 'sexual indecency' and warned that he 'posed a potential danger to women' and who, is likely to be SACKED on Monday when AFC Fylde bottle the playoffs?

In 48 hours time AFC Fylde will be out of the National League North playoffs and the job, for this season, will be done.

Thanks to the sterling efforts of Matt Hughes and Jake Gaughan the Daily Mail, preparation for the game by Roger and James Rowe are in complete disarray.

Roger has been running around denying to all and sundry there is a problem.

Roger has been running around promising that AFC Fylde DID do things properly.

Here's the problem Roger.

Article 1:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-10806267/Chesterfield-axed-

Article 2:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-10811035/AFC-Fylde-face-que

What is clear about James Rowe is that Roger hasn't done his planning.

Roger is making it up as he goes along when it comes to defending some very serious allegations of impropriety.

Roger doesn't like the press when the press print the "wrong story".

Perhaps Roger should call Simon Stone and see if he will "run a story" on the "facts".

Meet time is 1pm. Kick off 3pm.

Bring pyrotechnics because there are going to be fireworks!

Hopefully both James Rowe and Roger will now be sacked for failure to get AFC Fylde promoted.

What a tremendous afternoon at Mill Farm!

Perhaps we should get a pre season game there in June

I'll be opening a bottle later.

Seems only fair given that a celebration was held for our "controlled relegation" that a bottle is opened for the concerted and well planned actions of a week designed to foil AFC Fylde's aspirations.

You reap what you sow. Haythornthwaite appointing Bottomley and Rowe was going to be like a red rag to a bull to fans of decency and fairness in football.

Well done to the Daily Mail, ex-Fylde employees who helped with the planning and Biggles the pilot out of Blackpool airport for a banner that will have made Bottomley and Rowe wondering if the message was meant for them.

Bottomley will be FUMING this evening.

Oh I don't know.

There were "Good vibes on arrival":

"Supporter smiles before kick-off":

A comprehensive pre-match analysis:
https://www.afcfylde.co.uk/matchday-information-boston-united-h/

"This week’s edition includes notes from Manager James Rowe, Club Captain Alex Whitmore and your Chief Operating Officer David Bottomley. We also cast an eye on our opponents whilst Head of Medical Gareth Thomas updates us from the medical room, and we bring you a season review, written by our very own Coasters Live commentator, Jack Connor. "

I'm sure someone with suitable IT skills will stick an image of Bottomley's programme notes on here to give us a giggle later; they are a belter!

Bottomley will have this penalty going around his mind again and again and again.

And then this from a fan:

"The whole club has gone bonkers the past 12/18 months. I used to enjoy going on with my lad when they first moved to the new stadium, but recently it has been one disaster after another and all seem to come from the owner..."

Well done Roger.

I never, never ever thought that I would want Boston to beat anyone.
They were a disgrace 20 years ago in the Steve Evans era but I suppose time has elapsed and you can’t revisit the sins of previous owners on the present club.

I know what you mean, but surely their descent back into non-league obscurity (alongside the likes of AFC Fylde, for instance) was the kind of karma they deserved

Good luck to them in the playoff finals

Similarly, Stockport are now back amongst us. They too very much deserved their demise. Stockdale's task is to put a team together that will see us able to take them on with confidence

Back to Fylde - sounds like their longstanding fans might be turning against the current regime. That's their only way forward, whether it brings success or not

Out of interest does anyone know what the attendance was there today?
I know we had a discussion on another thread a few months ago about the massive housing developments taking place in that area but I always presumed that their fan base was mainly composed of a couple of hundred stalwarts from the Kirkham days plus disaffected Blackpool supporters disillusioned by the Oyston regime at Bloomfield Road.
The latter must surely have returned to their spiritual home and so that leaves Haythornthwaite left with the original fan base? That surely can’t sustain the dream of National League football?
Or the salary of a COO allegedly used to earning around 100k pa?

According to a Boston fan on Twitter, 2050 with 1100 from Boston. Of course, this may not be accurate.
