So far we have failed to score in 16 games , we have had 7 0-0 draws and 5 1-0 defeats, a goal in each of those games could have gained us another 19 points. A goal on half of them would have given another 9 or 10 points.
We haven't been getting battered 3, 4, 5, or 6-0 so the problem isn't defensive, the problem is the inability to score goals. And whilst we might blame the defence for an occasional sloppy mistake which leads to a defeat, its the simple fact that we don't score often enough that is the real problem. There will always be sloppy play at this level its the nature of lower league football, other teams seem to be able to take advantage of our mistakes, we don't capitalise on theirs, hence, we are where we are.
