A lot (lot) older than me but someone should do it each year.

Wish I had been there.

Sadly I was born a few months later. Only success I've sen cup wise is us lifting the Ibiza Cup in 2005, bating the mighty Coventry.

I was there as a 13yr old taken by my dad. Who had the idea of keeping the stub from the match ticket and the programme. Which I have still got in my garage.

Missed it by a couple of months

My dad was randomly there, he used to go and watch Fulham back then, but went and remembers the Rodney Chants.

Dad went up to the football stadium in the sky last year and I miss chatting to the old fellow about Rangers after a game.

Hopefully, he can pull a few strings up there as I fancy a trip to Wembley myself this season !!

My Dad was there in 1967. He passed away earlier this morning after a long battle with dementia aged 87. He was a lifelong Rs fan as was his Dad, as am I. RIP Dad ❤️.

My first of many trips to Wembley but nothing will ever come close to how I felt that day. I was bawling my eyes out at the end.

The grass is always greener.

When my dad passed away about 12 years ago we found all the Sunday papers in a draw that I’ve now got (the papers that is not the draw!).
I’ll have to dig them out and have a read of the match reports.
I got an original match programme as a 60th birthday present last year.

If you've got the News Of The World from that Sunday.
The headline reads.
Not just a win but a supreme victory.
Priceless .
I will never forget it.

11 yrs old and went with my oldest brother and my mums brother
Remember at half time my brother saying f... this I'm off and our uncle saying come on we are a third division club and they are 1st division just enjoy the day
When that 3rd went in I never heard noise like it and still don't think I have.... and at the end the first time I have seen grown men cry.....
My dear uncle long gone but my brother and his boys are still like me following this basket case of a club.... highs...... lows and whatever
