Fortunate to get a hold of this programme also. Any of the older heads with any match info would be very much appreciated.

If my (poor) memory serves me right we lost 1-0 a Joe ash worth own goal, we were poor that day, the queen of south goalkeeper was an English man named Alan Ball, there was always reference to him as the England World Cup winner was at his peak, other than that can’t remember much

Mind we did have one of the worst keepers to wear a dale shirt, not quite Matt dickins level but nearly and we paid money for him (£4,000 or £60,000 in todays figures.)

I think Burnley had paid big bucks to Chesterfield for him before that as well.
He spent two seasons predominantly in the reserves at Spotland though.
