ANDREW CURRAN FA BAN - Taylor Curran/Maidstone United watch 18:39 - Jan 16 with 4911 viewsRAFCBLUE

A quiet weekend for the Curran family and no need for Andrew Curran to risk breaching his 63 day FA ban as his son Taylor didn't play.

It's been an odd season for Taylor Curran - he's only had three starts and come on as sub twice following a period where Swindon Town fans had really got to him.

Boreham Wood won 5-4 on penalties to advance in the FA Trophy.

Something just twigged on the second link there - place of birth : Redbridge. A quick google of people we know are involved on this failed hostile takeover and 'Redbridge' and the first link to come up:

Its also mad how much the Curran family seem to struggle with the social media spotlight related to football. I don't get people who send abuse (genuinely baffles me) but attention / criticism / scrutiny is to be expected when you have a direct link to the biggest game in the UK.

It's almost like Taylor isn't comfortable with the attention that a former League Footballer brings.

One thing we learned is that everyone loves a bit of crypto!

A tougher regulation of the sector is coming though:

Alongside the concerns about young people there are concerns over money laundering and terrorist financing being enabled by use of cryptocurrency and nfts.

Bitcoin and Ethereum have both took a battering since December, you'd like to think now would be a good time to buy Bitcoin judging by its high of £51k in December, its nearly half that figure today around £26,700, I'm not so sure its hit the bottom yet...

I have been dabbling with Alts. Perhaps Alexander could give me some advice. Couldn't be worse than his guidance on buying a football club.

No sign of Andrew Curran going to Concord Rangers this week as he continues to serve his ban for the aggravated breach of FA rules.

Shame really as Canvey Island is only just down the road from Ingatestone; would have been a very local game to get to.

Taylor isn't really catching under Maidstone supremo Hakan Hayrettin and is still stuck on just those 5 appearances:
https://maidstoneunited.co.uk/player/taylor-curran/

Perhaps Taylor and his agent are angling for a move back into League football and refusing to train/play! Or maybe the 6th appearance is a very expensive one.....
