As a side note to my attempt at a festive/ tongue in cheek ditty......WHAT a performance by our Irish Iniesta yesterday. Previously seen as an extremely talented playmaker.......he covered every single sq cm of that pitch yesterday......putting in tackles that defies his diminutive stature......and a superb first time effort which went narrowly wide before putting the proverbial icing ontop of the Xmas cake with yet another lungbusting run for his 'tap in' ......just FANTASTIC!!
