Berwick Rangers next I’ll wager. Why did we waste so much time on this excuse for a midfielder?

Heartbreakingly inept.
Truly one of our worst aquisitions

Perhaps with a new Club, in a different environment, a different management/coaching team, and with a better attitude, he can kick start his career. For some, but not all, it has worked.

The trouble is like for example Tomlin at Cardiff, the player doesn't care about his reputation just his bank balance .The club paid good money and should have expected a return on their outlay .

Brings a new meaning to the word decent.
He was appalling in every way and has been found out as is obvious.

Chances are he'll have earned decent money in the process so cry no tears.

He can get his tennants extra up there

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Potter's signings were abysmal. Asoro, Celina, Declan John and McKay. Potter is a great footballing coach and Swansea played some great football but Potter demanded his own recruitment team and jumped ship after one season. Appalling behaviour. Coooper had to rid the club of all four of his signings who were all league 1 players or below.

Would any fan on here buy Mckay having seen him play on 3 or 4 occasions.? Asoro's mentality was clearly not right. Declan Jon is a full back who does not like tackling. I saw a U21 game for Wales a few years back. He gave the Bulgarian winger a free pass and never resolved this failure at CCFC.

Wise sage since Toshack era

Like Declan John he does not like the physical aspects of the game. He is an incomplete footballer. People who shirk the physical stuff never change, It is part of their make up.

Agree with most of that.
I dont think Celina should be in the same bracket as the others mind.

OHL has got McKays number.

Actually when this thread came up the image of George Byers came into my head. I suppose he wasn’t as useless as George but not much better

He wasn’t. He’s just too weak to cut it as a high level pro.

He has enough ability as a footballer to play at a high level, he’s just lacking the heart and courage. Based on purely footballing abilities he’s perfectly adequate and it’s incorrect to say he was appalling in every way.

Stephen Dobbie was also very weak but he made up for it in heart and courage. Mackay is missing a few vital ingredients but footballing ability isn’t one of them.

Well,he was .
And whatever abilities he did have were covered by his rank cowardice.
Dobbie had far more ability and had some application.

Thanks for the opinion,friend.

Wasn’t.

It wasn’t as if he couldn’t kick a ball. He saw plenty of it and had skill, he was just very weak. Like putting and under-14 in a senior game on Cwm Level Park.
