I referenced this in the match thread earlier today I'm sure the board would've noticed how distracting it was and will be looking to make adjustments, especially for night games Occurred to me it could also be difficult for players when tracking the ball in the air, a bit like cricketers struggling with catches under floodlights The problem might then arise that the screen would become too dim in bright sunlight. Another analogy is looking at your mobile phone under very different lighting conditions, unless you have it set to auto-adjust, which probably isn't possible with scoreboards.
