THE GIFTED ROLLS ROYCE / WHY MORTON HOUSE MUST FAIL THE EFL TEST (Part 6) 17:43 - Aug 11 with 13934 viewsRAFCBLUE

The internet never forgets.

On the sales section of LKC Motors Limited ( website they show off a grand array of prestige vehicles that they have sold to punters. If you like nice cars, and who doesn't, then you can see that for yourself here.

https://www.lkcmotors.co.uk/about-us/sold-gallery/

The ramblings of Rochdale fans, scrutiny from the Daily Telegraph, the pesky interference from the folks at the EFL and the general chicanery of the last 8 weeks means that the "done deal" takeover promised by Jarvis and Bottomley to Curran isn't actually a done deal, far far from it.

This series has focussed on raising the profile of the difficult questions and tonight's piece focus on one lovely shiny black Roll's Royce Cullinan.

The Rolls Royce is a timeless classic car. Only 4,000 are made for worldwide consumption every year and more than 90 percent of all Rolls-Royce vehicles sold are personalized, and customers are usually placed on a waiting list for months or even years depending on their customization preferences. For instance, a waiting period of 12 months is the norm for a buyer to wait on a Phantom VIII or Cullinan.

A 12 month wait. Andy Curran is clearly a patient man.

Except Andy's Rolls Royce Cullinan has an interesting heritage. It's possible to check this for a couple of reasons.

First, Curran came to the ground in it on Tuesday 13th April 2021 for the Swindon home game. There is first hand accounts and pictures from the protest of fans who said hello to him on account of his motor.

Second, Curran and Jarvis came to the ground in it on Tuesday 6th July 2021 for a meeting with the Board. Again, there are first hand accounts and pictures from fans who were in the area who can prove it was there.

So what?

Well this Rolls Royce isn't your usual "one careful owner" type car.

The DVLA records show that before Andy Curran got his hands on it and put 71AC on it, it has two previous registration numbers:

Registration 1: KX70 FMC (a normal registration from Northamptonshire) and
Registration 2: 234JB (a private registration plate)

So what?

I never had Andy Curran down to be a used car fan. If you are going to own a Rolls Royce, you'd think you'd do it properly.

Things then take a really interesting turn.

The 2nd owner transfers it into LKC Motors - Darrell Rose's enterprise. It's only under 6 months old at this point - the uber rich get bored very easily these days and move cars on like there is no tomorrow.

And on the 8th March 2021, Andy picked his car up from LKC Motors and they were delighted to provide it to him.

Think about the statistical chance of that:
* A prestige Rolls Royce with a waiting list goes to an initial buyer.
* That initial buyer moves it to a second owner
* The second owner puts it into LKC Motors Limited and
* LKC Motors Limited sells it to Andrew Kirk Curran.

http://www.findglocal.com/GB/Worksop/372973939518139/LKC-Motors

With all this takeover stuff, they have tried and tried to scrub the trail linking them to each other but the internet never forgets.

Here's what LKC Motors said on the 8th March:
"Love it or Hate it?

Either way, one of our clients loves it and is now the proud owner of this exclusive Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge.

One of our main services here at LKC Motors is vehicle sourcing. So if you don’t see what you’re looking for on our website, drop us a message or a call and let’s us find your dream car!

The questions that arise are as follows:

1. On what basis was the Rolls Royce Cullinan sourced from Rolls Royce?
2. How much did LKC Motors Limited pay the previous owner for it?
3. How much did Andrew Curran pay LKC Motors for it on 8th March 2021?
4. How did Andrew Curran source the funds for it? Did LKC Motors arrange him credit - they are regulated by the FCA as stated on their website.
5. Where is that Rolls Royce sitting parked tonight?

Of all the random coincidences - 7 billion people, 4000 Rolls Royce cars built a year, the waiting list we manage to link two people who just so happen to be working together now as part of a hostile takeover.

Darrell Rose is one of two directors in that business so it would seem that he must know well about how this car was procured and financed to his business associate?

Another question for the EFL to add to an ever growing list of sources and uses of funding questions!

And during the game would be a distraction. Was thinking about something that would show Jarvis and his gang they are not wanted and would get coverage on Quest and Sky.

Sir Tony Lloyd, MP as forwarded my letter with all the researched facts to the CEO of the EFL and also to the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport - Mr Oliver Dowden, MP to see the information collected by some brilliant Dale fans, who have exposed the dodgy dealings of these people.

Would be good if a few of the lads in the Pearl St could get a #UpTheDaleNotForSale banner sorted in the next week or 2…

There were a few people with "Up The Dale Not For Sale" T-shirts on last night. Will these be going on general sale? A Trust fundraiser / campaigning tool?

Here's a really funny thing for us Dale fans on a Thursday evening in September.

The Rolls Royce Cullinan that carried young Alexander Jarvis and his client Mr Andrew Kirk Curran around the town of Rochdale has disappeared.

Don't worry, its not been nicked, but merely deregistered with the DVLA.

https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/

Try entering in Andrew Curran's numberplate - 71AC and see what this says.

Funny when the EFL are hunting you down (and goodness knows which other interested UK authorities) that the car has disappeared.

Will have a check later if it is on the LKC Motors website as a used one.

Good little runner, low mileage. Three careful owners......

It's almost like they are trying to make this man's involvement look like it never happened.

James - it is almost like you are a plant for my question.

You're completely correct. It's returned to KX70 FMC.

Now, why would Andrew Kirk Curran, on the brink of selling 25% of Morton House's shares to Matthew Southall, want to remove his private plate.

I worked for a car supermarket 15 years ago, just remembered the rigmarole of putting personalised plates on retention putting the original plate back when a car with a PNP was sold.

Perhaps he is liquidating a valuable asset because he needs ready access to funds

Captain Sabotage has done it again!

The Scouse disaster who is perfecting being the "Gift of the Grass" has been telling his confidents (and Fat Pat) that the Gifted Rolls Royce has been "moved on" this week.

If you are in need of a recap, before this Roller rolled into the car park at Spotland last Spring for a game at home against Swindon during the middle of a fan protest and then again during Summer midway through a failed hostile takeover (and with Jarvis smiling in the back like a child who was about to wet himself), the DVLA records showed that before Andy Curran got his hands on it and put 71AC on it, it had two previous registration numbers:

Registration 1: KX70 FMC (a normal registration from Northamptonshire) and
Registration 2: 234JB (a private registration plate)

The HMRC game of "trace where the money ended up" for Village Energy Solutions Limited - the payroll company 80% bought by Morton House during 2019 but which the Insolvency Service notes has a "missing" £1.8m - is hotting up.

This week the DVLA issued a V5C form on the KX70 FMC Roller who has a brand new owner.

The V5C, also known as a ‘log book’ is a paper document issued by the DVLA to the registered keeper of a vehicle. A V5C contains specific details about the car and needs to be updated to reflect major changes.

The V5C is needed to change the name or address associated with a car or sell the vehicle to a new keeper, and it also contains a reference number used to pay your Vehicle Excise Duty (VED), also known as road tax.

It gets better.

There are not many of these in the UK and usually if you are wealthy enough to have one you don't actually sell it second hand - very few are traded second hand - so Fat Pat on hearing directly from Jarvo that one might be available set off scouring the country to see if she could buy it.

She was in luck - and she called Jez Viel of Premier GT in West Sussex and soon will be going on a test drive.
https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/12937438

The asking price: £369,995. Takings at the Chippy were good last year and as a local restaurateur, Fat Pat likes to be seen traveling in style.

We know the price of fuel is going up but has Andrew Curran really had to sell his motor?

For a Roller that's only done 17,100 miles with "one careful owner" from new - including a couple of trips to Spotland - its a turn-up for the books. Especially coming just one week after careless Oliver Nada linked Taylor Curran to Donna Nada, Donna Nada to Denise Courtnell and Denise Courtnell to Andrew Curran.

We wonder if HMRC are aware of this motor being sold on this week? And what new car is being bought to replace it?

What an absolutely ghastly Roller, Black with yellow interior edgings screams of tastelessness in the extreme. Its probably a wide boys wet dream but a proper gentleman would never be seen dead in such a monstrosity. It actually makes our new away strip look as though it was designed in Savile Row or Jermyn Street! RR should have told whoever ordered this car to FO and when he got there to FO further. Imagine having that thing parked in our car park on a regular basis, that alone would be sufficient for masive fans protests, never mind the absolute ballon that drove it..... no thank you!

When the record of this period of the club's history is written the people who turned up to protest and took all of those pictures of the car park during the protest vs Swindon game on 13th April 2021 will be the ones who go down as the ones who turned the light on the individuals.

The Speakmans, Curran and many many others there that night were outed by people who had just turned up to protest against Bottomley.

Make no mistake, that evening was the beauty parade for everything that followed last Summer.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but without those pictures of the fancy cars and the people who came with them.

This was the match report:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56645330

"Rochdale ended a six-month wait for a home win"

We sacked Keith Hill, the most successful manager in the club's history for a bad run and then persisted for six months with BBM to whom a secret extension had been given and even winning that game left us bottom with six to go.

He'd have got away with it too if it wasn't for those pesky kids.

That night sealed his fate IMO - masses of supporters and shareholders came together off the back of that and voted him out six weeks later.

For me the "star-studded" roof-lining took the biscuit.

Ample room to store coke (solid or liquid) in centre console anyway.

And is it just me or is the "Spirit of Ecstasy" pulling a moony to the hostile takeover and unwelcome advances?

Probably won't be parked in a football ground car park ever again either. Bit like its previous owner?

Up the Dale - NOT for sale!
