Round two on 23:04 - Aug 10 with 2717 views | sam1966 | great for dale but for the EFL management to be so rigid in the applicaction of this rule as to deny harrogate any chance of progression no matter how small in the midst of a pandemic is frankly cruel. i am sure that dale as a club would have agreed to play the game on 2nd round day.. and i would rather we earn progress in preference to having it handed to us.
Round two on 23:10 - Aug 10 with 2689 views | mikehunt | Nah! We handed them 3 points on Saturday. Fair exchange if you ask me.

Round two on 23:11 - Aug 10 with 2681 views | ncfc_chalky | Notts had to forfeit a game in the FA cup last season due to Covid, when the first round proper was drawn it was decided that any games cancelled due to the bug could be rearranged, one rule for one and one rule for the EFL

Yep. If it's the first domino to fall in a cup run, we're in no position to turn our nose up.

Disagree. Rules are rules. Same for all participants and known at the start of the competition. When is the draw?

When it happened to Notts the money went to the team that got the bye to add insult to injury

Round two on 23:44 - Aug 10 with 2531 views | dingdangblue | I think it is still a North/South draw so we've a chance of getting Newcastle, Everton, Leeds, Villa, Wolves, or Burnley from the Prem.

Or Barrow, as it isn't seeded these days.

All I'm saying is that when the FA cup was being played on the National League teams had to pull out if they was affected by Covid,as soon as EFL teams got involved they could be rearranged

There ain't any! Not unless we get to the semi anyway. Carabao Cup (EFL) Prize Money 2021 The winners of the EFL Cup will take home prize money of £100,000 while the runner-up will take away half of that amount which is £50,000. The semi-finalist teams will receive £25,000 each while teams who failed to qualify for the semi-finals will go home empty handed. ROUNDS WINNERS PRIZE MONEY Semifinals 2 £25,000 Runners-up 1 £50,000 Winners 1 £100,000

Just to add, i think gate receipts are split 45% to each club plus 10% to the EFL Don't think there'd have been many above 1000 at Harrogate if we'd played last night (Saturday's gate was only about 1800, and that's with c.650 Daleys) so didn't really miss out
