We are talking Brentford here,btw. Brentford-a west London anonymous shytehole.

Does it matter though? We got to a final after 49? games. England got there in 6. If we’d beaten Brentford playing awful football not many would have moaned.

The "football" hasnt been as bad as is painted...it certainly didnt match ROberto, Brendan or Laudrup but there have been flashes....My take on that is as a manager he was trying to get the best results with what he had...no one can argue he got results....yes at times it was atritous but there were signs of attacking play problem is many have posted this hoof ball myth...read the reports again and watch highlights...Im not saying we were always playing free flowing football but Cooper didnt always set us up to dedfend..there were games he went out to grab Bristol City at home for example yet we ended up losing as we couldnt convert the myriad of chances we created to goals and gave away sloopy goals to hand them the game
Im not a super fan if he goes Ill support the next manager. Yes we lost in the play offs, one semi final the following year the final we improved each year we finished 4th winning a lot more games than we lost....thats wht I want yes I want to see nice football but I am always happier leaving the Liberty after we have won ....even if we have played the other team off the park and lost....I ususally find that worse
This season I think we may see things different...given we now have Jamal Lowe, Whittaker, Cullen, Piroes,Kyle Jopseph. Liam Walsh appears to be an attacking threat, but we may never know how Cooper may have used these resources. What I do know is it is time for the club to have balls AND SORT THIS OUT. OR is this all speculation on peoples parts, well know Cooper spoke to PAlae and possibly Fulham..not sure about the England U21 as some reports say he was considered others that he was sounded out.
There has been talk of a promised transfer fund being pulled...at the moment its all speculation and conjecture ...and yes those who are not Coopers fans will jump on this as will his fans too....me I am a fan and supported of the club and now all I can see is potential harm...losing out on signings, not properly prepared for the seasons start if we dont sort this situation.....either he is going if he is do it now...or if not lets move on at the end of the day as we now this club is far bigger and more important than any single manager | |
