I’ve got a few, but as an 8 year old at the time, I’ll never forget sitting in the east stand when Garry Stanley pinged it in against Manchester City in 1982.

That’s up there for me. Plus Steve Jenkins in the Exeter away fa cup tie that was postponed when the lights went out. It never counted but it was an out of this world goal.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.
I'm drawing on fewer years of experience than most on here but my first instinct was to say Shelvey's goal at home to Villa in 2014. An absolute peach of a half volley into the top corner from the edge of the centre circle that I felt compared very favourably to Rooney's goal from a similar position against West Ham at around about the same time that season- but which of course saw nowhere near the plaudits.
In terms of team goals, I'd have to go for Routledge at home to WBA in 12/13. The finish itself was incredibly unsatisfying but the football leading up to it was absolutely sublime. I remember sitting there and being completely awestruck by how good it was- with our white and gold kit it really was like watching Real Madrid. I'm convinced I could live to be 100 and not see us play a half of football as good as that ever again.

Didn’t see Ferrie’s live but saw the rest. Max Thompson! What a goal that was.
For pure adrenaline rush Pratley against Forest.

All of them except Ferrie’s goal, but NL was there by proxy. Spoilt is what we are.

Here we go, a goal that is etched in my memory was Leighton James at home v Liverpool. Direct free kick outside of his boot, flew in past Grobs. Never seen it again so assume it wasn't filmed, but in my mind it was about 40yds, in reality probably a lot less. The fact that I've never seen it again probably adds to the myth. Hope I never do as it would almost certainly be a bit meh! but to a young TJ at the time it was simply sensational, oh and we won 2 - 0 I believe.

There may well be better but these are the ones that stick out in my mind:-
Karl Heggs volley (Mansfield home I think) David Romo 35 yarder (Mansfield again, different game) Marc Clode where he ran the pitch and pinged it top corner James Thomas chip (Hull home) Lua Lua volley (against us Colchester home) Trundle volley (Carlisle LDV final) Rory Fallen bicycle kick (Barnsley playoffs) Pratley halfway line (Forest home) Sigurdsson free kick (Villa away)
I’ve probably missed a load, but for one reason or another these have stuck in my mind.

I've seen nearly all the goals mentioned above, Live, yet for me, the Celina goal v Man City is by far the best, what a build up, what a finish against one of the best teams in the world

Surprised Andy Legg's volley v Stoke hasn't got a mention.
That was the belter I was going to mention. Do you remember him trying another volley later and Grobbelaar catching it then wagging his finger laughing as if to say ‘no way, son. Not again.”
An idea isn't responsible for those who believe in it.
