May 12: Swansea's Neil Taylor is sent off for planting his studs into Nottingham Forest's Lewis McGugan's private trouser area. Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers accepts the decision, commenting that he had "no complaints" and that "I can understand it and I'm not going to cry about it".
May 14: Swansea appeal the sending off to the Welsh FA. 'The club feels it has grounds for an appeal to the Football Association of Wales,' read a Swansea statement. 'After reviewing the video evidence... Swansea City can confirm that the club will be appealing against the red card issued to Neil Taylor in the first leg of the play-offs at Nottingham Forest on Thursday night.'
