After watching the last few games and the way they’ve been so utterly uninspiring, would consider starting him. It’s not as though anyone else could be disappointed to miss out.

I’d have thought he was pretty much guaranteed to be in the match day squad with Lund & Beesley both out. Really important we go all out for 3 points today, draws aren’t going to be enough.

Bristol Rovers at Rochdale in recent years: 12/13 Dale wear yellow as Rovers have a black away shirt (They end up wearing their home kit as well!) 13/14 Dale wear white as Rovers have purple & black away kit. 20/21 Dale in blue & black, Rovers in their home strip and there’s a clash. That some of their fans are having a go at Shrewsbury in that thread is incredibly hypocritical.

Right then BBM has had the dreaded vote of confidence if the players all love and respect him as much as the powers that be claim. They should play out of their skins this afternoon. Challenge for everything, first to everything, concentrate for the full 90+ minutes. No stupid challenges in dangerous areas. To a man not less than a 7 out of 10 performance will be acceptable. We will only turn our home form around with improved performances THAT MUST START AT 3PM TODAY!

Got to be fair, give them until ten past.

Confused me as well. Did nothing in his cameo up top on Tuesday, I can only think his height will make him a target for goal kicks, a la Lund. He's not up there for his pace that's for sure.

Really doesn’t make much sense at all. Watch him score now. We’ve actually started quite well as we’re looking to get the ball into the box whenever possible

That box where most goals are scored - that box?

Match Thread: Rochdale vs Burton Albion on 15:37 - Feb 27 with 16797 views | dawlishdale | Contrary to what our commentators are saying, Shaughnessy adds almost nothing for me apart from a long throw. He looks overweight, and is as slow a player as I've seen for a good while.

First 5 minutes or so we started brightly, but we look second best in most areas of the pitch. We are at home, playing the bottom team in the league . Its not good enough.
