What’s the story with Kamala Harris? 18:13 - Nov 12 with 23031 views | Lohengrin | Let me take you back to last April and in the wake of half a dozen accusations from Democrat party workers of “sexually inappropriate behaviour” and one of rape levelled at Joe Biden Kamala Harris mounts a platform to declare to the assembled press "I believe them and I respect them being able to tell their story and having the courage to do it." Let’s not discount a politician’s ability to stand there and lie with a completely straight face if there’s an advantage for them in it, give her the benefit of the doubt for now, accept that is her genuine, considered conclusion. If she really does believe Biden to be a deviant then why on Earth is she happy for him to rake a claw over her young daughter?

So you didn't mean the race based comment you made? Probably wise to not use such statements in future then, what you reckon?

What’s the story with Kamala Harris? on 21:10 - Nov 17 with 1079 views | Catullus | Ah Michael Savage, Michael Alan Weiner (born March 31, 1942), known by his professional name Michael Savage, is an American radio host, author, activist, nutritionist, conservative political commentator, and conspiracy theorist. I looked him up. I love a good conspiracy theory. For instance, there are peopleon this board who are right wing but pretend they aren't so they can call the left everything they want and get away with it! I'm not keen on nutritionists though, they're usually a bunch of nutjobs and don't start me the Tories

Thursday is a great poster. But he does get sucked in to the leftist trap unfortunately and ironically start making baseless claims and sweeping statements. But away from politics, Thursday is a poster I always used to look out for years ago and hopefully will do again.

Genuine apologies if the comments were not taken as intended. I thought they were quite clear, but they don't seem to be have been received that way and that's on me. A Fans Dad comment was quite as ludicrous, and that's what I was trying to point out. I thought it was safe using such a statement in response to such a statement. Will pick back up later this evening, heading off to a meeting.

Apology accepted, thank you. I was not offended personally but it can get a little tiresome to have the Nazi and racist jibe thrown at you because you don't agree with someone else's view, especially with the connotations that brings in such a highly charged racial political scene at the moment, one that has been created by that very side for that reason. I hope you stick around because you will absolutely add value to the forum.

I'm not neutral though, if you could see some of the things I said about Corbyn and his cronies that had people like EBo calling me Tory scum! In case you missed it, I have a deep distrust and often a deep loathing of politicians in general. It had Warwick calling me sanctimonious because at the GE I said I'd probably spoil my ballot because none of them were worth voting for. In fact between Stephen Kinnock and Captain Beanie, the Captain was the better choice. You may have fallen into the same trap as the the more left than I am of believing because I say things you don't like about Trump that I must be some far leftist goon. You are to the right an can't deny it. I am much more of a centrist which isn't neutral but, as said before, I take policies from both left and right that I find acceptable. The big problem is there is no party to represent my views. Specially not when the leaders were Corbyn and Bojo.....or Biden and Trump in the USA, two equally distasteful choices.

You assume I was referring to you? What views do I have that makes you believe I am of the right then? I have never considered myself so until I have been told I am in such conversations as this in the last few years. Much of my views are of the left, the majority are centrist. The paradigm has shifted in recent years where the middle ground has shrunk to a wafer thin slice. I am of the side of common sense, for me that doesn't fall left or right. I am for capitalism, because there isn't a single good example of socialism throughout history. Apart from that, which is a common sense view... you would struggle to pin any of my views as being right wing. Happy for you to have a go though, genuinely would find it interesting. So Capitalism. Then you spend a lot of time defending Trump AND attacking the left. I can't be certain but I'd say a lot of people would assume you are right wing. Perhaps if you spend more time criticisng the right too then I may hold a different view. Taking your post at face value and putting Trump to one side, we probably have a lot more in commin politically than I'd thought. I'm not a great fan of capitalism as it is right now but I also understand that socialism has failed badly. You cannot overcome human nature so easily, capitalism feeds the greedy and it's made most of us greedy whereas socialism starves the masses to feed the few; "some animals are more equal than others" comes to mind. My political viewpoint is an ever evolving beast.

Capitalism is something the vast majority of the world agrees with, you are talking an absolute sliver of the world that think socialism is a good idea. Give me a successful example of it? You have a dreamy view of socialism instead of a realistic one. Unfortunately that's not how it works. The left at the moment is utterly insane, they deserve to be called out for it. That doesn't make me right wing because I think attacking old ladies and calling them Nazi is bad. The fact is the majority of the attacks, destruction and criminality has been from the left - overwhelmingly so. I am also seeing a media wave of dishonesty fueling it, which also deserves to be called out on it. My defense of Trump is from my common sense stand point. I don't fall for the media guff talking about him walking down a ramp or personally killing 250,000 people. Its nonsense and embarrassing. What would you like me to attack the right over? Specifically. From where I am standing they aren't doing an awful lot wrong. Or are they?

I haven't ever voted, during my time in the UK no party appealed to me. I have lived abroad for much of the last decade and don't feel its my place to as it is not somewhere I will be living forever, I will leave that up to the birth citizens to decide.

If you don't want to take part in the democratic process that is up to you, if everyone was like you and didn't vote then the capitalist system might crumble and the Communists and or Anarchists might take over, is that what you want ?

I didn't say I didn't want to take part in it. I said I don't feel it's my place to and leave that up to the birth citizens, if the world becomes 100% migrants that may take the same view then I would vote. Until that time I am happy to allow the birth citizens to make choices on their homeland, I will very likely not be here next year let alone here for life.

Correct, for the large majority of that time I wasn't eligible to. For the rest of the time that was not down to a lack of desire to. I am not going to vote for a party I disagree with, I will leave that up to those who have strong feelings either way. If people only voted once they fully understood what it was they were voting for then there is no chance anarchy, communism or any form of ''progressive'' ideals would happen.
