Thought I read Pearson was quite unwell with Covid.
Monk never seems to last long. Believed to not be exactly squeaky clean.
I heard Pearson interviewed on Radio 5 yesterday. He said he was getting better. I've always found him a strange bloke, extremely intense and humourless, but he actually came across quite well on the radio. A couple of his ex players, Schmeichel and one other, who l can't remember, both said he was an excellent man manager and coach, but that he disliked the stuff that went with it, such as the press etc. He can also do the splits apparently
Somebody said their fans have got Eddie Howe trending on Twitter (I don't tweet, myself).
Everybody always says Howe will be their next manager. I've even heard QPR fans say that on Twitter🤣. Then the voice of reason comes on as to why he'd want to take on a poison challice. He had quite a lot of money to spend at Bournemouth. I'm not sure he'd want to manage a club with no cash.

Dom Solanke £20m Jordon Ibe £15m Brad Smith £4m Benik Afobe £10m Lewis Grabban £8m
No club should be giving Eddie Howe money to spend!
How can Wednesday afford some of those candidates? It's about time the club retrospectively challenged our FFP fine because it's clear there's absolutely no consistency or even discernible punishment for other clubs.
"To be fair, he was that honest with me it was unreal. He grabbed me in, halfway through the season and was like if I was managing a team that was going to play football then you'd be the first one in my team.
"But he said 'we're fighting for our lives'. I knew from then on, it wasn't going to be the club for me."
My Wednesday mate isn't chuffed. From the LFW whatsapp...
"Mates with the chairman's right hand man, and there's been no kind of selection process. One last big pay day for Tone while we endure his football on the highest ticket prices in the division. Guaranteed to leave us with a squad full of old cloggers so when he gets the boot the next poor sod will require even more of a rebuild than we need now. We do have 78 centre backs though so he'll enjoy that. We'll stay up, but I expected that anyway because the division is dog toss this year. We can already defend, we're toothless at the other end, not sure how Pulis changes that. The chairman was only whinging the other day about how he hated Bruce's football, then he appoints Pulis, it's almost like he doesn't have a fcking clue what he's doing."
For the record, would have preferred Paul Cook or Ryan Lowe.
