How many can say they were there when..........
"The cockerel cried when the Swans scored number three"

Tottenham Hotspur 1-3 Swansea City

Totally took them apart that night. Tosh at one point totally took the piss out of Ricardo Villa. They were never really in the game at all, after threatening to hammer us after the first game at the vetch. Fantastic night.

Hull away in a night game around 1979. 2-0 Dow, getting pissed on. Crudge saves a pen which would have buried us. We still looked done. Sometime late on, Tosh and Wadd headers, bish bosh 2-2 thank you very much. Curry and beer after and a train back to Leeds With a good mate. I loved it, can still remember the feeling.

One point took us up at the end of the season.

Still can't believe I paid to go in half time when we were 4-0 against Kidderminster..
Then there was the 4-2 win against Hull. James Thomas hat-trick goal that chip that was the start of the greatest run that pretty much any club has ever had.

Christ, that’s worrying, but that makes sense. Time for beer curry and to get a train to Leeds.

I was listening on the radio. I think it was just scoreflashes, but I was going mad.

Swans fan climbing out of the away end at Anfield to smash the ball into the Liverpool net.

The papers, next day, should've read 8-1, not 8-0!

Interestingly nearly ever single Swans memorable home match (to me) that I list was a midweek match at the Vetch under the lights, I'm going from memory and without checking I think the Watford, Luton, Villa, Spurs, Liverpool and Cardiff matches were under floodlights, the only home match I list not under lights was Man U (apologies if my memory lets me down but I'm not spending hours checking).

I was in with Spurs fans. They were disbelieving but complimentary to be fair.

They didn’t like THAT back pass to the keeper from Tosh though!😂
Yellow top with a blue diagonal from memory - Barca’s away strip. Apt.👌

Yes.

Was working in London at the time, in amongst the home fans, jumped in the air when the 3rd goal went in, was fortunate to get out of there in one piece. I remember the reception Tommy Smith had from the home fans, didn’t seem to bother him much.😄

Swans 0 - 4 Kidderminster

This game always sticks out in my mind, strangely enough. Tuesday night game, absolutely hammering down, only about 2k fans there (from memory)...a very odd and depressing night.
