There are any number of divorce solicitors around. Possibly try Graham Evans and Partners, Peter Lynn or Smith Llewellyn.

I reckon he knows there's loads about mate.

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

I used Graham Evans and partners for my separation agreement and will be using them for my divorce in the summer. No fuss at all with them.

That's a shame.

For my divorce my then-wife and I thrashed out the terms, then the solicitors wrote up what was agreed. Her solicitor was good. I'd recommend her but she's not from around here.

Sure there were angry moments during negotiations but the ex and I were determined to keep our legal costs to a minimum. That meant respecting the other's opinion and picking which battles to fight. It worked well, and for what it's worth we remain on good terms to this day, which means family occasions involving our son are negotiated relatively painlessly.

We have dealt with Jennifer Melly (Neath) and seen her personally and 2 others in the partnership/practice and they have been excellent, though not for divorce, yet.

From experience I would avoid John Collins though that experience was a long time back.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

My wife is a family lawyer and does divorces. Her recommendation is if you want the best of the very best is Bridget Atkinson of Atkinson’s in Newport. I know it’s not local but apparently the C word is an apt description of her so best to have her on your side!

Could have been worse. Could have married a divorce solicitor like my friend did. Then he got divorced.

Cost him five grand in fees just for the right to see his kids. Every loophole, every trick, every possible legal weapon at her disposal has been used against him, and they're still not done yet.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
