They're also(were)top of the league and haven't had too many 4.0 losses this season, so yes a strange result

As I recall, didn’t they escape relegation on the last day of the season because Plymouth and Scunny lost.
Maybe their recent form in the last 6 games is more reflective of last season rather than their fortunate form in the first half of this season. Don’t they play a game plan to frustrate the opposition ?
Does anyone know if the beast Akinfenwa is back after his ban for throttling someone from Oxford just before Christmas.

Wycombe were all-but safe going into the final day, barring something like a 13-goal swing.

Plymouth and Scunthorpe also played each other.

We're looking forward to seeing you all again on Saturday @ The White Horse pub (the 'away fans' pub) on West Wycombe Road, about a mile from the town centre going West towards the ground. (satnav: HP11 2LR) Plenty of lager, BT Sport (it's Watford v Spurs at 12.30) and 'exotic dancers' from 13.00. (Usual £1 in the pot for each stage show plus lap dances if you want) - as you may have seen in the papers recently - see https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10652504/ipswich-wycombe-lap-dancing-clu Some car parking, more nearby - we're about 25/30 minutes brisk walk from the ground. NO admission charges. Sorry, but no under 18's.

Dale at 4/1 is certainly quite generous given Wycombe's current form. I'm having a small flutter on both teams to score and Dale to win at 8/1 though.

It surely can't be any worse than last seasons performance at their place, it was truly abysmal.

Wycombe. What a turnaround from last season. Credit to them for that. Something we could dream of but we certainly have not achieved. When they beat us up here, they weren't spectacular but were very well organised, efficient, and clinical when it mattered. Dale couldn't cope with it. In Jacobson they have a cross / dead ball merchant who could give our shaky defence nightmares. But, they do seem to be losing the plot a bit. A 0-0 down there would be a fine result. A late winner from Calvin would be .....

Indeed, what a turn around. Cak last season, unbeatable for the first half of this season and now bottom of the pile for the last six matches.

Has Wycombe’s upsurge in form been anything to do with their American backer? Is he new or has he been there a while?

The worm of time turns not for the cuckoo of circumstance.
