Seems like a non-event. Iran save face, but it was far from the hellfire retribution they promised
Plane falls out of the sky in Tehran a few hours later though. Crazy timing if it's a coincidence, especially when Iran made reference to Lockerbie and the plane that the US accidentally shot out of the sky in 1988, just a few days ago. Iran claiming technical fault within minutes of the crash - maybe the pilots reported something, if not it seems awfully quick to be making such statements. Conspiracy theorists will have a field day with this

Good to see jezza stand up in Parliament yesterday to condemn American's actions. Wonder if he will stand up and condemn Iran's missile attack on Iraq?

Does anyone else ever read this blokes posts and wonder if he’s on day release from Rampton?
I don't wonder, he was in the cell next to me.
Seriously, anybody suggesting the religious fanatics in charge of Iran will/can be more mature than Trump aren't paying attention. They'll consult their version of the bible to see what it tells them they can do. Then it depends on what any phone calls they get from Moscow and Beijing.
Inside Iran this missile strike is probably being hailed as a giant take down of the evil USA when actually, compared to 9/11 it's like a gnat bite.

He probably will. He's not a warmongering turd like Trump.
... "According to the Ukrainian embassy in Iran the Ukraine International Airlines Boeing 737 jet crashed due to engine failure."
... "Another expert Alexander Romanov, an air safety specialist, told TV 360 he suspected engine problems possible caused by overloading."
... "Experts have also speculated that the Ukrainian aircraft could have collided with a military drone before crashing."
... "Honoured Russian military pilot Vladimir Popov said: “It could have been an unmanned reconnaissance aircraft, which are small in size and poorly visible on radars."
... "It is feared the plane may have been shot down by Iranian defences in the aftermath of the attacks."
... "An airline official has insisted there was nothing wrong with the plane, it had been checked days earlier"
Everyday above ground ... Is a good day! 😎

That's like someone rightfully condemning a big burly guy punching a woman in the face, then asking where is the condemnation when the woman slaps the guy back

I don't think the Iranians will like you comparing them to a woman, they'd want to be the burly guy. Or at least the wimpy guy with a few burly friends.
Seems the Iranian general was on a peacekeeping mission to help relieve tensions between Iran and Saudi. The US can't tolerate that. Peace in the middle east, whatever next?
