We haven't been able to get decisive passes through to the attackers but the midfield is solid and competitive. Doncaster are very good but are not capable of dictating play. Both teams well matched and battling for supremacy.

Doncaster Match Thread on 20:37 - Sep 17 with 365 views | spell_chekker | HT: 0-0 Well that brings an end to the half. It's not been a classic by any means but the Seasiders should be pleased enough. They've looked a lot more solid defensively while the best chance of the half fell their way, Ryan Hardie being denied by a flying save.

Doncaster Match Thread on 22:01 - Sep 17 with 341 views | spell_chekker | I'd say it was a very solid performance. Even if they had problems feeding the front two, the introduction of Virtue, the third midfielder, brought backbone to the team. Virtue's lack of match fitness started to tell after about 75 mins and it was then that Doncaster started to get the upper hand. Whatever else happens with the team, considering what we've got at the moment, it's got to be a midfield three with Spearing and Virtue claiming the first two of these berths. Thompson is in the driving seat for the third midfield slot.
