Cricket one day cup 19:12 - Apr 30 with 6165 views | frenzied | After a poor start Lancs have won the last 4 games... How many go through from each league to the next stage? 2 games to go..not a competition Lancs have done well in previously
Cricket one day cup on 19:47 - Apr 30 with 4156 views | isitme | 3 in each group. The top team to host a home semi. Then the second and third placed team play each other. North 2 play the south 3 team and vice versa for the remaining semi final places.
Cricket one day cup on 21:11 - Apr 30 with 4097 views | Nigeriamark | I went last week to the game against Northants. Tenner in and sit wherever you want. Was less than 500 there which was a bit surprising. I know it was midweek but there must be a couple of million pensioners within an hour of the ground and you can get very cheap season tickets. Great value though and I thoroughly enjoyed it, although sadly Thwaites don't sponsor them anymore so they don't serve it

Yes. Games won comes beforeRR. Durham were flying so weather really helped us out there

For once! I think we play away at the second placed team in the South group to then potentially play away in the semi.

or to put it another way. We finished above Durham because we had fewer games rained off. Same points, inferior Run Rate and inferior win rate but because we had fewer games rained off, it is Lancky who go through rather than Durham. If they used the head to head rule as a tie breaker then fair enough as we beat Durham.

Cricket one day cup on 16:44 - May 10 with 3434 views | EllDale | Looked to be struggling to score boundaries at one stage with ten overs to go. Good knock from Keaton Jennings who just missed out on a deserved century. I believe the winners of this one go through to play Hampshire away on Sunday.

Cricket one day cup on 22:37 - May 10 with 3247 views | isitme | Great batting from Harris and Simpson. A good victory in the end. Great to see Mahmood fit after two years of nagging injuries. I believe he is a former pupil of Matthew Moss.
Cricket one day cup on 12:54 - May 11 with 3099 views | EllDale | Simpson has plenty of Rochdale connections as well. Anyone remember his dad Jack playing at Dane Street in the 1980's? Decent wicketkeeper/batsman. He married Karen Gowers who was the daughter of the late Ken, GB rugby league player.

Ken Gowers had a builders yard down the old Manchester Road Think he played for Oldham, but always wondered why he didn't turn out for Hornets Edit: or it may have been Swinton? [Post edited 11 May 2019 13:19]

Cricket one day cup on 07:49 - May 13 with 2723 views | EllDale | Going back to Ken Gowers and his dad Walter. My dad knew them both well. He told me that Walter was a playing legend at Hornets, going on the 1928 GB tour to Australia. He was a goalkicking fullback too. When he retired he turned to coaching at the Athletic Grounds and Ken was always up there as a ballboy. It was always presumed that Ken would automatically sign for Hornets and so no-one actually put a pen a and paper in front of him. The club then sacked Walter and Ken went straight to Swinton where he was a one-club man and tourist.

at one time Walter held the Hornets career records for goals points and games played. My old. pE teacher graham starlet took over the points record. he was unfortunate to play at the same time as the all time great Jim Sullivan (who also later coached Hornets) so was never capped by GB but as you say he was selected to tour down under and scored plenty of points in the club tour games.
