Think so, looking at the team it’s “Baggy Shorts & the Nitwits” 😂😂 First sighting of Alby & McNulty for a while will cross them off my bingo list as they are still alive

Match thread: Leicester u21s Checkatrade on 19:17 - Nov 7 with 7941 views | Sheffdale | I think Hamzat is the defender who headed the opener at Donnie last week. If you include subs, it must be the highest aggregate total of team numbers. Lots of 40s on the bench. Good to see Hilly giving youth its head and nice touch to give Dan Adshead the armband.

Hoti is a central midfielder. Yosian is a forward and I assume Hamzat will be playing left back?
Match thread: Leicester u21s Checkatrade on 19:26 - Nov 7 with 7909 views | jonahwhereru | Sense Hilly sees this as an opportunity to pitch our youngests against a PL academy. If this goes well it will only further spotlight just how successful the Dale academy is. Didn’t see this youthful selection coming, but have to say it is a great idea. Plus the bench has some experience to call up if required.

I doubt Leicester care at all about this game, just an inconvenience bearing in mind events recently. I know it’s over a week ago but any black armbands or other show of respect planned?

Cannon is injured, mentioned here: https://www.rochdaleafc.co.uk/news/2018/november/hill--post-lutontown_03.11.18/ Gillam has had chances in games like this, don’t think we’d learn much more, but Morley would be a first choice throughout the competition if not injured. Not sure what’s gained by playing an on-loan keeper either.

From Club's twitter feed pre-kick off: Dan Adshead will now present the Leicester City under-21 captain with a floral bouquet, as a mark of respect for those who sadly lost their lives in the tragic events at the King Power Stadium

Decent first half and good to see the kids on both sides play. Leicester couldn’t get going in the first 20 minutes and look weak in the air especially for the 2 goals. They then woke up and have got some rapid wingers who unfortunately cant put in a decent cross. 2-1 probably fair at the moment. The young lads all look quite comfortable on the ball & having our experienced players down the spine is freeing them up to play a bit. Clough seems to be playing the Hendo midfield type role rather than attacker but has linked in well. He also has a real turn of pace as he chased their winger down at1 point Best moment of the game - Mattheson brought a punt down without breaking stride and ran half the length of the pitch. Unfortunately passed instead of having a pot himself, could have been a worldly. Looking forward to the second half but we need to keep an eye on the wingers because they may start to put some good crosses in. Should be a few more goals in this game

2-2 and now a penalty shoot out. Fair result over 90 minutes with the second goal showing why McNulty & MJ are not our starting CH partnership although Norman could have done better too. Clough had a 1 on 1 in the last minute but the keeper saved it with his face !! Lot of talented youngsters on both sides but theirs shaded the second half
