The Chairman, Board and Management are always subject to some stick. But theres no denying it. This summers transfer business has been absolutely fantastic. Now, A striker and Fullback covers and I'd say we're all set for a real go at upsetting the odds. We should all really take our hat off to Mr Hill and Mr Dunphy.

Bring on the season 👏⚽️💙🔵

to be this "ready " in the first week of July is unheard of!!

Of the 6 new signings,3 have graced the lush grass of San Spotty before and are valued by fans and the Club....Aaron W's reputation goes before him, so only 33% are real "unknown" quantities....all the other business is tieing down our decent players to better deals all round.

We have a good mixture of youth and experience.......no dross.

If they all come back fit and crock free from Tenerife,we are good to go?

I would say so YD.

Compared to last year it is encouraging.

need to transfer the form of the last 15/16 league games into 46 and we will have a cracker of a season.

Need to transfer the potential into performances of course.

Way too early to start counting chickens just yet, but it does seem that the previously reported loosening of the purse-strings by CD has given KH more freedom and backing to get who he wanted when they became available.

This is in stark contrast to last year when there seemed to be lots of reported deals not getting over the line. Let's see how the players gel in Tenerife and what we look like as a team afterwards.

I am cautiously optimistic, but then I was last season too. Maybe it's the relative success of the WC to date, but I can't wait for Dale's season to start again now.

Has Andy Cannon definitely extended?

Not seen it myself but not on as often as previous.

Poll: DF in or out

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

Are we after Humphreys do you think?

The worm of time turns not for the cuckoo of circumstance.

Sheffield Wednesday seem to have a lot of forwards on their books at the moment, probably more than they can use regularly. I wonder if they'd loan out Sam Winnall...

Strangely enough he put a picture up on Instagram of him playing for Dale, tagged location as Rochdale and quoted something along the lines of “massive season ahead”.

Personally I wouldn’t go for Humphrys, flashes of good stuff but his first touch was Sako like.
