Delighted.

He's a bury player until 30 June 2019.

He sat on the treatment couch for 7 months at Preston in 2015/16.

Looking forward to understanding how the Chur will fund his £250k per season costs plus the cost of a replacement.

Would you sign in January for current bottom of the table side, bury?

George Miller back on loan from Middlesbrough is the rumour - not exactly a like for like replacement for Beckford though - he will be a massive miss for them and a top wage. What's happened to Harry Bunn?

Miller signed for Wrexham on loan for a month on 5 December 2017.

Bit expectant for him to go up two divisions and start.

Harry Bunn is the right call. Interesting to how him and Tutte react on Saturday to Beckford being called a"talisman"?

I've heard they're after David Ball on loan. An ok player but hardly a prolific scorer.

Miller has already started and scored goals for bury in league 1 previously? He's gone to Wrexham because you can only loan to non league outside the transfer window. He's certainly not an adequate replacement for Beckford though who would have scored 20+ this season had he stayed fit.

I don't think we are in any position at the moment to be exercising schadenfreud. Lets get out of the sh1t first.

Amen

He’s been out for months already and our plights are closely matched.

Chur will be spending on the never never once more in Jan, of that there is no doubt.

Miller made 5 starts and 24 sub appearances for bury according to Soccerbase contributing 7 goals.

I'd be delighted if they replaced Beckford with him since Beckford is a decent (if somewhat expensive) player at this level.

Financial schadenfreude is always allowed when it comes to bury.

We both might be relegated this season and still we know that our club is built on strong financial foundations.

Beckford, on the other hand, was recruited by a club who can't afford his wages without incurring significant losses.

Gutted for Jermaine personally, he'd have been in with a chance of the L1 golden boot IMO if he wasn't this injury prone.

This BBC list is very interesting showing the top scorers in League 1, their goals, assists, minutes per goal and shots on target ratio.

Not a Dale player amongst them despite some appearances from players of teams in the current bottom 8.

No Dale players because they don't list missed penalties
