Nice guy, decent coach and I'm sure that's his strength but not a manager as I don't think he was capable of motivating the players through such a dour, straight, school teacher approach to his management style which combined with his cautious approach to the playing style meant it was curtains. The timing is perfect to be fair. He deserved every opportunity to put things right and he's had it. | |

No need to worry about appointing Curtis as a caretaker manager again. To be fair, I'd prefer to think of it as a kindness. It wouldn't have been pretty for him on Saturday when the same old script unfolded. He was looking increasingly fragile too, as is Junko, but I'd happily see him shouted over the edge. |  |
