French div 2 20:15 - Oct 2 with 4228 viewsPrivate_Partz

Not much footy on tonight. I am currently watching Mr Blobby's old club Harvre AC v L'Orient. The standard seems ok.
The surprising thing though is the stadium. Superb with screens either side and a 25,000 plus capacity.
It seems Bob moved to a poorer stadium when he came to us. Albeit our crowds are much bigger.
Away side one up the moment with 30 mins gone.

Thought I would update you as you are all riveted by my thread ;-)

It ended up 3-2 to Bob's old boys. I must say the standard was very good with lots of technical ability on display.
Perhaps we should switch our scout from Falkirk to Northern France.....

I thought this was going to be about Tabanou and Gomis.

Are they in Division 2?
There was a Toure playing for L'Orient.
We always say the Prem is better than the French league but these two teams looked better than anything we have in the Championship.

I was hoping to discover who French Div 1 is?

Monsieur Hulot gets my vote but Depardieu in "Les Valseuses" could be a close second.

Inspector Jacques Clouseau was fictional, so doesn't count.

Seriously? Napoleon, his attack on and retreat from Moscow, warrac*nt

Picky sod :-)
You are obviously sooo intelligent you know what I am talking about. ;-)
For those with less grey matter I was talking about French Ligue 2.
Apologies to all for my error. I don't follow French footy and this was my first venture into checking it out due to very little matches around tonight.

Excusez moi, I feel your pain

I went to watch a Bostik league game 3pm Saturday whilst following my daughter's iphone score updates from the taxpayer's stadium. Her boyfriend playing, nothing weird.

Just preferable to what we have now, hope and memories.

Whisky and W1A cheered me up. A bit.
