Election debacle and what to do next ! on 13:23 - Jun 11 by mrhappy
Put us out of our misery - any alternatives ??
Call another election with MPs selected by proportional representation and make it a rule that they all must behave like adults, tell the truth and respond to a straight question with a straight answer.
Interesting stuff! I say get Hammond in to steady the ship before another election within the next year. If Big Sam came in at least he would know how to bribe the important people to get what is wanted but seriously, even if we have another election next month, the result would not be a lot different. For starter's put brexit on back burner as country at large now starting to understand the implications and just maybe the EU has learned a lesson and will change. Straws in the wind on this include the centrist party in France looking like they will dominate the next French Parliament. The UK has no true centre party hence the incredible mix and the hung parliament since everybody has a different idea of which party best serves that need.
